Microneedling depth isn’t a one size fits all… 💉
The depth during your microneedling sessions depends on your skin and what it actually needs.
Shallow depth with product absorption, hydration and overall skin quality.
Deeper depths are targeted more for concerns such as deep lines, wrinkles and scarring.
Also it depends on the thickness of the skins anatomy. For example I wouldn’t go 2mm on your under eye area where your skin is thin and delicate (ouch).
But overall depth depends on your skin and concern, at S&D SkinDiaries we tailor each treatment to your specific skins needs and the depth we use is built around your skin, your concerns, and your goals, not a standard setting.

After over 5+ years of being in the industry and reflecting what I’ve learnt. 🤍
But if I’m being real the biggest one is trust matters.
Of course you want results but quick fixes don’t exist when it comes to skin. I think we forget it’s a living breathing organ. It reflects what’s going on in the body so that’s why trusting the process and being consistent is key.

Let’s have a chat about skin treatments vs injectables 💉
Not to say injectables are bad and don’t have a place when done right they can yield amazing results!
But are filler and Botox enough to achieve youthful, healthy skin? No.
Botox paralyses muscle to help improve expression lines, it doesn’t plump or hydrate.
Filler can leave you looking puffy and swollen.
