I used to moderate, but it became as much of a chore as being an alcoholic was. It took up just as much time planning moderation as it did planning a p**s up. It just made it much easier to become teetotal.

1. You have to learn Friday is just another day .. why exactly do you need a poisonous reward to prove that you survived it??!

2. To create long term happiness, you have to forgo immediate pleasure

3. Pick a recipe from the internet and cook it from scratch .. it’ll keep your mind busy

4. Download a sobriety podcast and listen to that while cooking

5. Clean that thing .. oven, windows, floor? Something you’ve been putting off .. tonight is the night that beauty is gonna shine ⭐️

6. Buy chocolate .. or Magnums (ice cream not champagne)

7. Come online and talk random s**t if you’re struggling

8. Find some memes on Pinterest to help you focus on the positives of your lifestyle change

9. Find what you’re gonna buy yourself as a treat when you hit 1 month sober

10. Plan what you’re going to do tomorrow in detail and play tonight forward if you’re tempted .. do you REALLY wanna feel like s**t and undo all of your hard work?
