Makeup glam on Sharon for her bridal trial 👩🏼‍🎨 Sharon doesn’t really wear makeup, but wanted to have some impact. She wanted medium coverage, and using M·A·C Cosmetics NC32 was her perfect match!

Also, MAC’s Harmony blusher was my best friend for this look - for both blusher and on the eyes, paired with eyeshadow palette 🎨

Sharon wanted to tie in the look with some individual lashes, and a deep mauve tone on the lip 👄

Hi everyone! 👋🏼✨ Whether you’ve been here for years or you’re completely new to my page, I wanted to reintroduce myself and share a bit about the face behind Makeup By Emz.

I’m Emma, and I’ve been a makeup artist since 2016💄 (this October will be 10 years!)
My specialty lies in traditional bridal, special occasions, and events. For me, makeup isn’t about masking who you are - my ultimate goal is to make you feel incredibly comfortable and confident in your own skin. ✨

I’m all about enhancing your natural features and beauty that’s unique to you.
I take immense pride in my work and my relationship with my clients. To me, a flawless look is a full experience! I love spending time prepping your skin with luxury skincare before the makeup even starts, right down to perfecting those meticulous final touches 👩🏼‍🎨

When I don’t have a brush in hand, I’m channeling my creativity elsewhere! I’ve built a career in retail display and am absolutely obsessed with the creative side of retail design, property development, and visual merchandising.
Aside from my creative passions, nothing beats travelling, holidaying and spending quality time with my family, friends, and being a massive dog lover! 🐶

What an incredible day at The Barnsdale Hotel, Rutland wedding showcase today! ✨ It was such a joy to be back at this stunning venue today as their continued recommended supplier, representing me at Makeup By Emz 👩🏼‍🎨

I loved every second of pulling my stand together - there’s nothing quite like seeing the new branding come to life! From my new pull-up banner and foamex artwork panels to those glossy client transformations, it felt so “me.” (And I hope you all enjoyed the branded chocolates! 🍫)

It was a busy one - my enquiry forms are full and my heart is even fuller. It was wonderful to meet so many new couples and network with fellow suppliers, both old connections and new faces. 👏🏼

Yesterday I had the absolute honour on granting a wish for an end of life patient at the LOROS Hospice in Glenfield, Leicester.

Their wish was to get married and feel the presence of love and vows in their final moments.

Loros reached out to me to step in as the bridal makeup artist for his fiance, Joyce - to add sparkle and magic to the glam prep, and of course I said yes!

I have been part of many amazing weddings, but this one was very special to be a part of.
