It’s been a while since my last post…

I have come to the decision of closing the salon, I understand this will come as a disappointment to many however it’s time for me to take a step back.

I will be continuing with appointments until the closure date however going forward I won’t be taking on any new clients unless I have the space to do so as I would like to ensure my current clientele get my full attention before I close.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported me throughout my 14 year journey of being Selina’s right from the very start in July 2010 to now 14 years on, it has been a rollercoaster but it’s time for a new chapter.

Your love and support hasn’t gone unnoticed, I will forever be grateful.

So I thought it was a good time to re- introduce myself to my insta-fam!

I’ve been a little MIA recently as I stated in my last post but I’m back and I’m trying to stay back on track, life has its ways of throwing unexpected hurdles your way and you just have to find your way through them, even if that means taking a step back from the things you love.

So my name is Selina 🙋🏽‍♀️ I am a hairdresser and salon owner based in Leicester just off the Golden Mile!

During the early part of the week I work as a hairdressing trainer/assessor and during the end of the week I run the salon and work hair magic on my lovely clients!

I opened my salon in 2010 specialising first in hair and beauty and now just hair! Hair has always been my passion since a young girl. Whilst focusing on hair I started to specialise in make up aswel, which I am currently only focusing on bridal and that is also very limited for the time being.

In 2022 after a life rollercoaster I decided to start this new journey as a hairdressing trainer/assessor which is something I had been planning in the background since 2018 I just never put my mind to it and worked hard enough for it, but since I’ve started this new role I love it! I mean jumping into education is a complete change and of course comes with its challenges but it keeps me busy and keeps me stable in many ways.

So I’m here just reaching out to my new and existing followers to say hello and a huge thank you for following and supporting my journey!

The salon is open Thursday to Saturday, due to being limited days appointments get booked up in advance so please do get in touch to get booked in as soon as possible. 🤍💚
