Hi there,

I just wanted to say a quick 'hello' to all my lovely clients, as so many of you have become friends over the years. I am dropping you this personal note to let you know what has been happening with Christopher Wright Hair over the recent months.

After three decades at the helm, I have now chosen to hand over the reins of the salon to Lisa Jane Massey. Lisa is a superb stylist, who is certain to maintain the exceptional standards that I have worked so hard to achieve. The salon itself has been rebranded as Butcher's Salon and is now one of a group of four salons, the other three of which are in London. To be chosen as the first Butcher's Salon outside London is itself a mark of our quality standards. Butcher's is also acknowledged as being the most sustainable salon group in the UK, aiming to be fully carbon neutral by 2023.

This is a very exciting development for the salon and its clients alike, and I am delighted to have been able to hand the business we have built over to such a talented successor as Lisa. She will undoubtedly ensure that the next stage of the salon's journey is a positive one.

Finally, I must emphasise to you all that I have not yet picked up pipe and slippers and retired - I am far too young for that! I am still working full time in the salon and would love you to continue trusting your hair to my care. I have some exciting news to share!

As some of you will already know i am handing over the reins to a new and exciting salon group called Butchers!

Butchers are a sustainable, forward thinking salon group and i couldn’t think of anyone better to be handing over to🙌🏼

I will still be at the salon as a freelance hairdresser doing what i love the most & keeping you all looking amazing!🧡

We are currently collaborating as two teams while the change over happens but as we are nearing completion i wanted to reassure everyone you can still find the CW team that you know and love in the same place and i wanted to introduce you to Lisa, the soon to be new salon owner & Bruce, the salon mascot🐶
