Hi everyone,

Another update… bet you’re all getting fed up with my updates! 😂

I’ve seen both the physio and the surgeon this week — thrilling part of my week! Sadly, neither of them waved a magic wand! 🤣

However, I do have some news about my return to work.

I’ve been advised to initially do 3 days a week, for 2 hours a day, and then gradually build it up depending on how my shoulder is coping.

Which, as you can imagine, has really cheesed me off! 😩 I just want to get back to treating and seeing each and every one of you.

The problem is, I’m still not sure which treatments are going to aggravate my shoulder, so for the moment I’m trying to be sensible and do the treatments I feel I can manage.

This does mean it may take me a few weeks to get around to everyone, so please bear with me. It’s honestly so hard because I want to see you all SOOOO much! ❤️

I’m getting there though, and I’m really looking forward to being back doing what I love.

Hi everyone!

I’m so sorry I haven’t posted an update sooner, but there really hasn’t been much progress or anything to report! It’s basically been a waiting game… and a lot of waving a yellow physio band around! 😂

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer, and a huge thank you for all your lovely messages and support. They really have kept me going! ❤️

Now for the salon update…

I’m seeing my surgeon on 30th September, and I’m hoping he’ll be able to advise me on when and how I can safely return to work.

The following week, the I’ll also be seeing my physio. We’ll go through the treatments I do and look at ways I can adapt my working position and movements while I build my strength back up.

So, all being well, I’m hoping to return during the week commencing 18th October. 🤞

However, as I don’t yet know exactly what I’ll be able to do, I won’t be taking any bookings until I’ve seen the surgeon and physio and have been given the go-ahead.

My hope is that I’ll initially be working around three days a week for a few hours a day, gradually building things back up as my shoulder allows.

I really can’t wait to get back to seeing you all and doing what I love! 💕 Thank you again for your patience, understanding and all the lovely messages — it has meant so much to me. xx

A little shoulder update !
All is going in the right direction, albeit a lot slower than I had hoped . I’m 5 weeks into recovery. It’s so frustrating !
Thank goodness for the wonderful weather and all your lovely messages !
I am not going to be back at work as I had planned ,at the beginning of September . It’s going to be beginning to October .
Unless there’s a drastic change in my movement .
I’m so sorry , I’m trying so hard to get better to see you all .
I’ll keep you posted when it gets nearer the time, so I can start taking appointments .
In the meantime Shelly is still at the salon helping me on a Friday , so u can contact her on the land line 01509 620435 .

Hi !
Another update !!
Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages . They are so lovely and I miss each and everyone of you !
The shoulder recovery is going ok . It’s not going as fast as I thought it might , but the Physio’s are happy and have told me I’m impatient !!! I’m going off to Southwold next week , there’s more for me to do than round here and everything is with in walking distance as I can’t drive still !
I only have bargain booze the coop and the chemist!!!!
Any way I’ll be in touch again with more news and an idea of when i hopefully can come back to work!

Little update
My shoulder operation went well .i have an excellent nurse who is reminding me on a regular basis , how many steps he’s doing !!
Big week next week , physiotherapy starts and im having the stitches out !
I’ll keep you posted ( if you are interested) on how everything is going .

Salon update
As many of you know I’ve been struggling with my shoulder and back for years .
So, I’m having shoulder surgery on 25 th of June 2026
It has all happened so quickly I thought it would be years away (NHS )so I’ve not had much time to plan .
I will be away from the salon till September , as many of you may know this is a massive worry for me as I feel like I’m letting each of you down .
But long term .. I will be so much better . I’ll be a better version of myself !!!!
I do have Shelly to help me , many of you know her as she worked for me and comes to help me out at Christmas
She will be working some Saturdays and Thursday evenings . So for your holiday treats please call the salon and we can arrange an appointment for you .
I’m so sorry about this and I’ll keep in touch via Facebook and messenger .
I’ll see you all , I hope ,when I get back
