Sometimes things happen at exactly the right time. 🙏🏽❤️
Today was in my diary three months ago—a day of fellowship, worship and learning from some truly inspirational people. When I booked it, I had no idea just how much I would need it.
The love, kindness and support I received today were overwhelming. From fellow Christians who hardly know me, yet showed such genuine care and compassion.
It reminded me that our faith grows stronger when we walk alongside one another, that hope can be found even in difficult seasons, and that God often works through ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
God often shows up through his people. 🙏🏽❤️

Yesterday, I shared the vision for Walking Life Together, and I was genuinely overwhelmed by your encouragement, kind words and support. Thank you. ♥️
A number of people have asked how they can support the vision, so I’ve taken the first small step and created a crowdfunding page.
Before I share the link, I just wanted to reassure those of you who have kindly expressed concern about me taking on too much while navigating my own cancer journey.
Please don’t worry.
At this stage, the fundraising is simply about laying the foundations. Building something like Walking Life Together won’t happen overnight, and I’m certainly not rushing into it.
Over the coming months, while I continue my own treatment and recovery, my hope is to gradually raise the funds needed so that, when the time is right, we can begin rolling this project out into our local community and, hopefully, much further afield.
If you would like to support the vision, I’d be incredibly grateful. Please only donate if you’re able to.
If donating isn’t possible, but you’d still like to support Walking Life Together, please consider sharing this post or the crowdfunding page. Every share helps us reach more people, and that support is just as valuable.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, is an investment in a future where no one has to face cancer alone.
This is only the beginning, but every journey starts with a single step. Thank you for taking that step with me. ♥️

Good morning! Let’s get this week started. 👊🏽❤️
Life doesn’t stop while you wait for answers.
There are still jobs to do, people to encourage, and reasons to keep moving forward.
Today isn’t about pretending everything is okay. It’s about refusing to let cancer have every part of me.
So this morning, I’m back where I belong. Routine is a wonderful thing, and I’m grateful to be doing what I love while I wait for the next appointments and the next steps.
Thank you for every prayer, every message and every act of kindness over the last few days. They have meant more than you’ll ever know.
Now… let’s get on with today.
One day at a time. 👊🏽❤️

Cancer is back… but so am I. 👊🏽❤️
This photo probably says more than I could put into words right now.
The news this week wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Cancer has returned and spread to my liver, and there’s a road ahead of scans, appointments, surgeries and recovery, all of which will have life-changing effects.
Am I scared? Of course I am. I’m terrified. Am I going to have difficult days? Absolutely. But I’m not giving up.
Today reminded me that even in the middle of uncertainty, God still gives us moments of peace. Worship this morning fed my soul, and a few hours later, spending time with Judy watching Singin’ in the Rain – one of my all-time favourite musicals – reminded me that there is still joy to be found. None of those moments changed my diagnosis, but they changed how I’m choosing to face it.
I listened to my body when something didn’t feel right, made that call, and now we know what we’re dealing with. The next steps are underway, and so am I.
This fist isn’t about pretending I’m fearless or that I can fight everything on my own. It’s about determination. One appointment at a time. One procedure at a time. One surgery at a time. One day at a time.
And through it all, I’ll keep trusting in the Lord. Not because I know what lies ahead, but because I know who walks beside me. I’ll also be surrounded by the love, prayers and positive energy of some truly incredible people. 🙏🏽❤️
So don’t cry for me… just keep those prayers and positive vibes coming. I’ve got another battle to fight, and by the grace of God, with the support of my family and friends, and the amazing NHS, I intend to fight it with everything I’ve got.
We’ve got work to do. 👊🏽❤️

Exactly where I need to be this morning. ⛪️🙏🏽♥️

No words… just no words.
I woke up this morning feeling absolutely gutted. The uncertainty is overwhelming, and to find myself back on this journey just four months after hearing the incredible news that I was in remission is beyond devastating.
One thing I do know is this… the love and support I’ve received has been overwhelming in the best possible way. The messages, the comments, the voice notes, the prayers, the offers of help, and every single person who’s taken the time to check in on me… thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It means more than you’ll ever know. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without you all.
For now, I need a little time to process everything, to reflect, and to rest. The next 12–18 months are going to be another rollercoaster—one I genuinely believed I’d never have to ride again after the amazing news in March.
But here we are.
So it’s time to strap myself back into the big-boy seat, put my armour back on, and prepare for the fight ahead.
This cancer will NOT define me.
This cancer will NOT beat me.
This cancer will NOT have the final word.
I WILL be me again. Stronger. Braver. More resilient than ever before.
For now, my prayer is simple:
“Lord, give me the strength for each day, the courage for every challenge, and the grace to trust you through it all.”
One day at a time. ♥️🙏🏽

Don’t cry for me… I’ll be okay. ❤️
Well, today wasn’t the news I was hoping for.
The cancer has returned to my re**um, and it has spread to my liver. Well, it wasn’t the news I was hoping for.
The biopsies from my re**um have confirmed cancer cells, and the scans have shown an area on my liver that is now their main concern.
The plan from here is:
• A PET scan within the next couple of weeks.
• An appointment with a liver surgeon in around 3–4 weeks.
• Liver surgery, followed by approximately 1–2 months of recovery.
• Once I’ve recovered, I’ll have further scans and a colonoscopy before discussing the next stage of treatment and surgery for my re**um.
It all feels much more urgent this time, which is naturally concerning. But one thing I am grateful for is that I listened to my body. I knew something had changed, I made the call, and it’s being dealt with.
This isn’t the news I wanted, or honestly expected to hear, but it’s now my reality.
I can’t change today’s news, but I can choose how I respond to it. I’ll keep putting one foot in front of the other, and for me, that means trusting in the Lord to walk this journey with me.
I’m not looking for sympathy, and please don’t cry for me. I have another battle to fight, and with God’s help, the support of my family and friends, and the incredible NHS, I intend to fight it with everything I’ve got.
Thank you all for your prayers, your positivity and your encouragement. They mean more than you’ll ever know.
For now Prayers and positive energy ONLY. ❤️🙏🏽

I’m here at the Jarvis Building, ready for my results… but the doctor hasn’t arrived yet! The joys! 😂
I suppose moments like this remind us that some things are simply beyond our control. Everything that could be done has already been done. Today’s results won’t change what’s happened—they’ll simply help determine what comes next.
So, for now, it’s about staying calm, taking a deep breath, and, for me, trusting in God whatever the outcome.
Thank you again to everyone who’s been thinking of me, sending positive thoughts and keeping me in your prayers. It means more than you know. ❤️🙏🏽

Well… tomorrow’s finally the day.
After the MRI, CT scan, sigmoidoscopy and biopsies, I’ll finally be getting the results.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling a little anxious. I think anyone who’s been through cancer will understand that waiting for results never really gets any easier.
At the same time, I’m incredibly grateful. Grateful for the support of family and friends, for everyone who’s kept me in their prayers, and for the amazing NHS staff who’ve looked after me every step of the way.
Tonight, I’ll try not to overthink things. Tomorrow will bring whatever tomorrow brings, and I’ll face it one step at a time, trusting in God whatever the outcome.
If you could spare a thought or a prayer for me in the morning, I’d really appreciate it.
Thank you all. ♥️🙏🏽
Morning all! A little update…
I guess they have to follow their procedures, but just tell me over the phone, why don’t you?! 🤣🤣🤣
Tomorrow’s the day!
Thank you all for your continued prayers, kind thoughts, positivity and messages—they really do mean the world to me.
Whatever tomorrow brings, it’s now in the hands of the Lord. 🙏🏽❤️🤞🏽
