This last month hasn’t gone to plan at all 😩 I had so many things that I’ve been working on & so much that I wanted to show you but my health has been quite bad & it went downhill this last week. I hate talking about things like this but i also don’t want to be seen as someone who says they are going to do things & then don’t but give no reason why & I’ve honestly put so much into what I’m working on I can’t just leave it & not say or do anything…

I’ll try & keep it short & sweet for you though 🤦🏻‍♀️ My body is fighting me & I am trying to fight back. But unfortunately when you have certain chronic conditions they do what they want, when they want & it’s normally when you have the most to do that they strike the worst!! It all went a bit pear shaped over the weekend though & at best the most I managed was to upload a reel on here. Its really upset me that I couldn’t do or finish what I have been working on because I had already started parts of it & I was ready to finish it off 😢 I know I can’t change it & it is what it is but when you try so hard at something & it doesn’t work out it’s not only frustrating but you have to admit defeat & that’s something I really struggle with...

That being said & even though it’s not Halloween anymore I’m not going to let it all go to waste. So for now until I get back on my feet here’s some throw back pics from 2019 when I decided to put cobwebs allover the salon & lots of everything else too ☠️ It took HOURS to do & I couldn’t tell you how many balloons we blew up for them to all fall down by the morning lol….& without the help from my amazing mum & & her sister I wouldn’t have been able to do it so Thankyou 🖤

Did I want to take it down when Halloween was over? No 😂 & that’s why I’m going to carry on & finish what I started. Is it still Halloween now? No. Am I going to pretend that it is? Yes. Will you think I’m bonkers? Probably lol. Will it make me happy knowing that I didn’t let it all go to waste? Yes…..So with all that in mind once I’m able to, the rest of my creations will be revealed!! 💖(Soz for the essay but I couldn’t fit it all in one sentence 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Here they are 🥰 1st time I picked up a nail brush for over a year and I won’t lie it was a challenge!! 😂 Took me 3 days lol but was so worth it…

I wasn’t really sure at first what I wanted to create and I also wasn’t sure if I should go for the ‘safe’ option…But then I thought what’s the point of entering an amazing collab if I’m not going to do something that’s creative & a bit of what I really love!! 🤷🏻‍♀️

COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone and there’s a few things I would change and could probs do better but hey ho I did it and I’m proud of them!☺️💖

Each of the animals are made out of sculpted acrylic (from scratch 🙈) & I then hand painted them to create the shadows & extra detail on the animals & put neon pigments over the top to make them colourful 🎨🌈…A few sparkles in the eyes as I love a bit of bling and then used pigments on the base of the nails just to make them look even prettier💎✨

I chose to do a mix up of different animals & my entry is the nails obz 😂 I will go into more detail about my design later & why I chose it/how I did it etc but for now I want you to admire all of these creations as a collective and show everyone some love too 😍

Firstly I wanted to thank for sharing this post in the first place and also to for resharing it, because that’s how I found it 😘💁🏻‍♀️

The last few weeks have been quite testing and I know a little more for some than others & myself included 💜 But one thing that has kept me going is the strength within the nail community that is happening right now ☺️I have done a lot of workshops the last couple of weeks with many well known nail techs...Not just because I want to learn, but because I want to support the amazing girls that are making these classes happen but also to interact and meet new people...And one of the most amazing things is that we are all coming together to support one another during this difficult time 😊💅🏻
