When and why is it advised to Laser old
Brows off?

Brows cannot always be corrected successfully.

Over time, pigments in eyebrow tattoos can fade into undesirable colours — like red, blue, green, grey, or even purple. These colors are difficult to correct with new pigment, so laser removal may be necessary first.

Brows that are too high, too low, asymmetrical, or poorly shaped often can’t be corrected by simply tattooing over them. Laser removal helps reset the area for better symmetry and design.

If the previous tattoo is very dark or saturated, it can block new pigment from showing properly. Also, the skin can only hold so much pigment before it rejects colour, so going over these brows trying to correct them could lead pigment migration, patchy healing or a ‘muddy’ unnatural colour.

How many sessions does it take to remove Brows?

On average it takes around 1-4 sessions but this depends on the depth of the tattoo that has been applied under the skin, if the old tattoo was done poorly and too deep, this may take us extra removal sessions.

It also depends on how many touch-up/ top ups have been layered into the skin over the years.

This case took us only 3 sessions to remove successfully.
