RJ Vu, we had quite a journey.

Today, I think I'm finally ready to say goodbye. Not because I haven't been saying goodbye for months already and not because the keys have been handed back.

But because, for the first time, my heart is beginning to catch up with what my head has known for a while, RJ Vu is over.

Even writing those words feels strange.

For so many years, RJ Vu wasn't somewhere I went. It was part of who I was.

It was the place where I spent countless hours, built lifelong friendships, celebrated successes, navigated challenges, solved problems, shared laughter and sometimes shed tears.

It watched me grow and I watched it grow too.

What began as a dream became something far bigger than I could ever have imagined.

Within those walls, careers were built. Clients became friends.
Conversations became memories and somewhere along the way, a salon became a community.

Of course, it wasn't always easy.
Nothing worth building ever is.
There were moments that tested me, moments that exhausted me, moments that broke my heart and moments that made me unbelievably proud.

But if I could go back and do it all again, knowing everything I know now, I still would.

Because RJ Vu gave me far more than it ever took.

It gave me purpose.
It gave me confidence.
It gave me friendships.
It gave me stories that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Most importantly, it gave me the privilege of being part of so many other people's journeys.

To every client who trusted us.
To every team member who walked through the door.
To every apprentice who learned with us.
To every person who laughed, cried, celebrated or simply sat and shared a moment with us.

Thank you.

You became part of the story and what a story it has been.

As I handed back the keys, I realised some things don't disappear when a door closes. They stay with us.

So, this isn't goodbye with sadness.
It's goodbye with gratitude.
Gratitude for every lesson.
Every challenge.
Every success.
Every friendship.
Every memory.

RJ Vu was one chapter of my life.

A very special chapter.

But it was never the whole story.

Now it's time to turn the page.

AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Clients,

After many wonderful years, I have made the decision to close the salon doors at RJ Vu on 30th April 2026.

This has not been an easy decision, but life has changed a lot for me over the past few years. Alongside my work in the industry, I’m incredibly lucky to now be a Nana to three beautiful grandchildren who mean the world to me. As many of you know, family has always been very important to me, and I feel the time is right to step back from running the salon and focus on the next chapter of my life.

I will continue working within the industry and through education and product development, which has always been a huge passion of mine.

What started as a small dream grew into something far bigger than I ever imagined. Over the years we’ve shared countless conversations, laughter, milestones and memories with so many incredible clients and team members.

I feel incredibly proud of what RJ Vu has been and the community that has grown around it. Every person who has walked through our doors has played a part in that journey.

While the salon chapter is coming to a close, I want to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you who has supported RJ Vu over the years. Your loyalty, conversations, laughter and trust have meant more than you could ever imagine, and it has truly been a privilege to be part of your nail and beauty journey.

Our team members will continue to look after their clients as they move forward with their own independent businesses, and they will be in touch directly regarding their future plans and where you can continue to see them.

The salon will remain open until 30th April, and we would love to see as many of you as possible before then.

After the 30th April, the website & I will remain on socials and if there is ever a reason you need me or unable to contact another team member please message me.
