How is it only just over one week till half term?!

Not to show off, but we've got some child free time as ours are off to stay with their grandparents, BUT it does mean more time for tinsel, yay!!! Im honestly super excited for halloween this year and getting all tinsely in the build up to it, anyone else?

Its always a super busy time as its mine and our big ones birthday and he likes to challenge me and hubby with his costume 👻

So these are the dates i'll be tinselling and i'll be on 30th. Evening appts can be available on request. I would advise getting in quick as i've had so many enquiries already about when i'll be doing this and i'd hate for you to miss out. I will also be asking for a £5 deposit to secure your spot and im doubling up on the amount of tinsel, so you'll be getting twice as much for your £££ 🎃

Quick school hairstyle in under 5 minutes

"Mum, I want a teeny tiny plait tied with an elastic, then all put into a ponytail with this bobble. You ok with a ponytail?"

Yes sweetheart, its not the ponytail that concerns me, its whether I got the teeny tiny plait teeny enough! Standards are high and she will say if its not exactly to her specification. Feel the pressure every morning.

Anyway, here is the finished look and you'll be pleased to hear it was a success and no changes were required 🩷

What you need
1 small bobble for the plait (i used a clear elastic)
1 bobble for the ponytail
Accessories of choice to adorn the hair after the practical bit is done 🌈

What you do
Small french plait down one side of the head - before you start, just double check the teeny tinyness of the plait.
Secure at the bottom
Pull all the hair into a ponytail and secure with bobble
Let your daughter go to town with accessories 🎀

Excitement is high over here with the littlest for halloween shenanigans. We're in spooky get up whenever we can 🎃

Saw this fun ghosty style on pinterest, so thought i'd have a go. Obviously bought the tinsel and glitter to the party.

It was so easy to do - what you need
👻 4 plain hair bobbles
👻 2 clear elastics
👻 2 squares of white material
👻 a black marker or black stickers
👻 brish and section comb

Create 2 bunchies, back comb slightly and wrap hair round itself to create a bun on either side. Secure with other bobbles.
Place white material over bun and secure with the clear elastic. Ruffle it out. Draw or stick on eyes and mouth. Ta daaaaa.

What tools you need (I am NEVER prepared for what she throws at me of a morning, but a hairbrush, fingers and bobbles of choice are always to hand. However, incase you are more prepared than me)
Brush
Comb
Clear elastics (buy a massive bag of them in superdrug)
A loop and pull through tool to finish the bow off (i didnt do this part as I dont have this tool)

Just to add, I dont use styling products on her hair just to get the perfect photo opp. Shes 6, flyaway hairs are natural 🩷

Halloween Tinsel ... Coming Soon
I've had so many enquiries for halloween tinsel and (i hate to say it, but im going to) with half term only 3 weeks away, i'll be putting out dates i'll be tinselling next week 🎃
How awesome that halloween is on a Saturday this year. More time to get down and spooky 💜

My 6 year old loves testing my hair up skills 5 minutes before the school run on a daily basis! I dont know where she gets her creative ideas from sometimes, but kudos to her, she knows what she wants.
I'm setting up an albumn for girls hair style inspo and will regularly pop ideas in for you, because lets face it, coming up with hair up styles for kids is about as fun as deciding what to have for dinner every night 🩷

Bubble Plait
This was so easy to do. I quickly googled how to do a bubble plait. Found one that was about 2 minutes long and copied her. Hair up is not one of my strengths, but for school, I think it came out well 🩷

Its the FINAL hair tinsel and glitter pop up this Friday at Hoboken Kids before we start preparing our small humans to return to school.
Im doubling up on the tinsel for the same price and have some fabulous new glitter to add a pinch of magic.
