A cosmetic practitioner dubbed the 'Lip King' had been banned from carrying out liquid BBLs in two separate areas of England before the tragic death of a mum-of-five😱.

Jordan Parke was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after 33-year-old Alice Webb died in September 2024 following a non-surgical Brazilian Butt Lift procedure in Gloucester. Alice was the first person in the UK to die from the treatment.

Parke was never charged and died in a hotel room in February 2025 after undergoing an unrelated cosmetic procedure himself.

A new investigation has revealed that local councils in Dudley and Salford had previously issued prohibition orders against Parke, banning him from performing liquid BBLs in those areasā€¼ļø. However, because the bans were only local, he was able to simply move location and continue treating clients in Gloucester.

Alice’s grieving partner, Ben Kingcote, expressed his fury that Parke was not banned on a national level, admitting the heartbreaking reality of having to raise their young children alone.

"The agencies in Dudley and Salford issued him with prohibition orders," Ben explained.

"He was prohibited from doing this in those parts of the country but that didn’t stop him from moving down here to Gloucester. If a procedure is dangerous in one part of the country it’s dangerous in all parts of the country."

Ben added that Alice never would have gone ahead with the procedure if she had known about the local bansšŸ’”.

"If Alice had known about these prohibition orders she wouldn’t have had it done," he said. "Her kids were everything to her... She wouldn’t have done something that would have jeopardised that."

The tragedy has sparked urgent demands for reform, with safety group Save Face calling for non-surgical BBLs to be strictly outlawed outside of regulated medical settings.

The Government has since announced plans to crack down on unregulated providers, ensuring only qualified healthcare professionals can carry out high-risk cosmetic treatments in the UK.
