Spotcheck enables Electrocautery treatment to be carried out safely and confidently.

When I first trained in Electrolysis nearly 7 years ago this November I always wanted to be part of the BIAE.
That came true in March this year! I am so proud to be part of The British Institute and Association of Electrolysis.

It wasn’t easy with a theory and practical exam that I studied for in the background since October last year. The effort was worth it.
The BIAE, naturally demands the highest standard of skill and ethical conduct from its members in order to provide a professional and reliable Electrolysis service to the public. Becoming a member has many benefits not just for me as a practitioner but you as my guest in ensuring exacting standards are met.

Another fantastic result using Advanced Electrolysis to remove this skin tag from my guests nose.

It developed from the constant rubbing of glasses resting there. Skin tags can be a common result of friction and are easily treated safely, effectively and with precision using advanced techniques.

Because hygiene, sterilisation and infection control should never be compromised when carrying out your treatments!

Did you know that in parts of Europe it is mandatory to have a dedicated person who is solely employed to manage the salons infection control and without them the salon cannot open and work on anyone. Personally I’d love that to be the norm here and cannot fathom why it’s not taken more seriously.

Back in January I upskilled my knowledge once again with Artur by taking part in their autoclave sterilisation course, keeping me abreast from the rest. Artur was fantastic and so patient with all my questions!

You can never know everything, there is always something to learn and I came away with some great nuggets of information. Thank you Artur I look forward to seeing you again for my annual .official autoclave service in December.

🟤 Seborrheic Keratosis 🟤

This is a before and after picture of a benign lesion called Seborrheic Keratosis.
These lesions are common as we age and can be confused with moles however they have a typical stuck on appearance and can be easily treated safely and effectively with Advanced Electrolysis.

Just because a blemish is cosmetic and non removal by your GP doesn’t mean you have to ‘just live with it’
I have access to a professional dermatologist linked screening service as well as my own dermatoscope to see the lesions dermascopic features.

This is all included and discussed in your consultation.

New tax year, new price refresh for some treatments. Mainly on Electrolysis and blemish removal.

Unfortunately it’s not just a case of a bit of wax and a box of spatulas, there is soooo much more that goes into running a professional, safe and hygienic hair removal business.

To name a few - pat testing, autoclave sterilisation, machine servicing, hazardous waste removal, cleaning supplies, insurance, electricity, water, disposable materials, stock (wax, spatulas, needles etc ) surgical packs, uniform, training courses, fire extinguisher checks, retail, online booking systems, card machine fee’s.….the list goes on. This is even before I’ve stepped foot in the salon and performed a treatment.

I wouldn’t have it any other way though, this is no back street Barbie set up. Keeping standards high is paramount for me and not about to end anytime soon. ❤️
