✨ SELF-EMPLOYED BEAUTY THERAPIST WANTED ✨

I’m looking for a self-employed beauty therapist to work from my established beauty room at Graceful Beauty at The Mission Shetland

I’d love to see my little beauty room continue to be used and, where possible, give some of my lovely existing clients the opportunity to continue having treatments done in a safe and familiar place ❤️

I’m therefore looking for the right person to join the space on a self-employed basis.

I’m open to hearing from therapists offering a variety of treatments, particularly those that could complement the services I’ve previously offered. Whether you specialise in brows, lashes, nails, waxing, facials, massage or something else, I’d love to hear from you.

I’d love to know:

✨ What treatments you offer
✨ Your qualifications and experience
✨ How long you’ve been working in the beauty industry
✨ Your availability / what days you would be looking to work
✨ Whether you have your own existing client base
✨ Anything else you feel would be useful for me to know

The room would be available on a self-employed basis paying rent monthly in advance, further details including days, rental and arrangements will be discussed with suitable applicants.

I’m looking for someone who is professional, friendly, reliable and takes pride in their work, and who would be a good fit for my beauty room AND at The Mission.

What makes this opportunity unique is that I am willing and motivated to offer potential MENTORING for any beautician looking to gain more experience and confidence with EYELASH TREATMENTS. The demand for lash artists is never slowing down here and I would love the opportunity to share my experience and wisdom to keep Shetlands High Standard of treatments going as I take a step back.

✨ A peerie life update… ✨

After a LOT of thought, I’ve made the decision to take a career break from Graceful Beauty. 🤍

This definitely isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly. Beauty has been such a huge part of my life for over 20 years, and I feel incredibly lucky to have had the most amazing clients along the way. What started as a job became something I genuinely loved and took an immense amount of pride in. I’ve met some truly wonderful people through it who have now become firm friends 🥰

I’ve recently been offered a new opportunity in a completely different line of work, and although it feels like a big leap, I’ve decided it’s something I need to give a chance. I’m excited (and nervous!) to see where this next chapter takes me.

For now, I’ll be taking a step back from doing lashes and putting Graceful Beauty on pause. This isn’t necessarily goodbye forever — I’m calling it a career break because I’m not quite ready to say that! 😂

I just want to say the biggest THANK YOU to every single person who has ever booked an appointment, recommended me to a friend, supported my peerie business, chatted away on my bed, trusted me with your lashes and, most importantly, became part of my journey. ❤️

I honestly couldn’t have done it without you.

I’ll be FOREVER grateful for the support you’ve given me over the years, and I hope you’ll understand why I feel I need try something different.

I will still be working until the October holidays but for now I will be taking no more bookings. I will explain all when I next see you but until then....
