Sometimes things happen for a reason and opportunities happen xx

Holding space for true harmony and healing.

I feel truly blessed to have been part of the specialist team supporting a lovely group of ladies on their Ayurvedic journey at the beautiful Belvoir Castle Estate.

As onr off the Ayurvedic massage therapist on the team, my role was to bring the these heated oils to use on the body

Using the doctor's custom blended oils, I supported the ladies through deep, therapeutic massage and grounding breathwork to help them release physical tension and reset their nervous systems.

True healing is a team effort, and it was an honour to hold space alongside our yoga instructor, sound therapist, amazing lifestyle coach, and our super chef who prepared specially designed, nourishing meals

Seeing all of our modalities flow together to create total balance for these women was absolutely magical.

Thank you to my incredible teammates and to these inspiring ladies for trusting my hands and energy.

May your post-retreat glow stay with you!

Today is World Mental Health Day, and this year is focusing on a simple but life-changing act: really listening to one another.

Mental health struggles can feel incredibly lonely, but no one should have to carry their heavy days in silence.

Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give someone is just space—a safe, quiet space to say "I'm not okay," knowing they will be heard without judgment.

Let's look out for each other today and every day.

Check in on the people you care about, listen with an open heart, and remember that your voice, your story, and your presence matter deeply. You are never as alone as you feel. 💚

A full-circle moment on my Ayurvedic journey.

I’ve waited a long time to have the space to extend my Ayurvedic treatments, and this week, I am finally doing just that—stepping back to learn, refine, and deepen my craft.

Its been an amazing week of not only learning and connecting with others, its been a grounding week of meditation and reflection on why I chose this path of holistic therapy.

Sitting in the receiver's seat for Shirodhara today, my amazing teacher reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this ancient art of massage.

The sheer wisdom held within Ayurveda is breathtaking. Watching and feeling that continuous, rhythmic stream of warm herbal oil flow onto the third eye doesn’t just soothe the body—it directly calms the nervous system and brings the doshas into a beautiful, harmonious dance.
Every drop of oil and every ancient principle carries thousands of years of healing. I am so incredibly grateful to walk this path as a Tri-Dosha massage therapist, and I cannot @ wait to bring this expanded, profound healing back to all of you. ✨

WE ARE ALL JUST WALKING EACH OTHER HOME.

I am on a training day today with colleagues from all around the world, and our tutor shared this beautiful quote by Ram Dass. It is a gentle reminder that beneath all our surface-level differences, life is a shared journey.
We aren't here to compete; we are here to walk side-by-side and ease the way for those around us.
It reminded me that every single person we meet is navigating their own complex path, carrying their own hopes and challenges.

True connection begins when we extend
unconditional kindness to everyone we meet. It means creating a space where we sincerely support and respect the diverse views, beliefs, and experiences of others, without casting judgment on their choices.

When we choose empathy over judgment, we recognize that every individual's journey has value and every person deserves grace.

A huge thank you to the diversity of my training colleagues and tutor for this beautiful reminder to be gentle with one another as we walk each other home.

As alot of you know i will be away for a few weeks in October

I am heading away for a major new chapter in my professional journey.

First, I will be completing my Ayurvedic Qualification Refresher to ensure my practice remains deeply rooted in the holistic traditions you know and trust.

Directly after, I am diving into the intense practical and placement training required to become a certified Scar Therapy Practitioner
My heart is completely full thinking about how this will allow me to support you on a whole new level.

So many of our bodies carry the physical and emotional stories of surgeries, accidents, or illnesses.

I have been studying so my practical and placement elements concentrate on
• physical scar tissue work & myofascial release to restore comfort and mobility.
• Tailored exercise programmes to safely guide your post-surgery recovery.
• Advanced lymphatic drainage techniques specifically for scar tissue, burns, and post-chemotherapy healing.

Then final exams x

Your trust in me is what drives me to keep learning, growing, and expanding my skills.
I cannot wait to return with a wealth of knowledge and a new set of therapeutic tools to support your healing journeys.

Thank you for being such an integral part of my practice.

I look forward to bringing these advanced therapies back to you very soon! 🤍

Beyond "Just a Headache": Managing Migraines Holistically 💜

It is Migraine Awareness Week, a crucial time to challenge the misconception that a migraine is simply a bad headache.
In reality, it is a complex, disabling neurological condition that impacts millions of lives daily.

Consider these facts about the scale of this condition:

1 in 7 people in the UK live with migraine—amounting to roughly 10 million

individuals.190,000 migraine attacks occur every single day across the country. It is an invisible crisis:

Migraine is recognized globally as the second leading cause of years lived with disability, yet it remains heavily under-diagnosed and misunderstood.

As a holistic therapist—and as someone who suffers from migraines firsthand—I know exactly how brutal the sensory overload, physical pain, and exhaustion can be.

Because everyone's triggers, symptoms, and warning signs (or auras) are completely unique, every journey starts with a thorough, clear consultation.
Before we ever begin treatment, we will take the time to discuss your specific history, lifestyle, and comfort levels so that we can create a completely safe and tailored plan for you.
When managing a complex neurological condition, supporting the nervous system is key.

Taking a multi-disciplinary approach allows us to encourage the body's natural relief systems from every angle

:Massage Therapy: Releases the profound muscular tension in the neck, shoulders, and scalp that so frequently triggers or exacerbates an attack.

Reflexology: Stimulates specific pressure points on the feet to calm an overstimulated nervous system and help modulate the body's pain response.

Reiki: Works gently to dissolve deep-seated stress, clear energetic blockages, and invite a deep sense of peace to a fatigued system
If you are resting in a dark room today or pushing through the aftermath of an attack, know that your pain is valid.

A Gentle Thank You + A Moment of Autumn Ease**

As Reflexology Week comes to a close, we finish with a quiet moment to pause and breath.

This week has been about gentle maintenance, small moments of care, and supporting the body before things feel “too late.”

Reflexology offers a way to stay connected to your wellbeing through the changing season.

Autumn asks us to slow down, soften, and settle into a different rhythm, and reflexology supports that shift with calm, grounding ease.
A few minutes of steady pressure, a moment of breath, and the body begins to respond.

Thank you for joining us throughout the week — for learning, exploring, and giving your body a little extra attention.

As we move further into autumn, this small practice help you stay balanced, supported, and gently rooted.

World Reflexology Week Day 5

Here are 10 common reflexology myths

Myth: Reflexology is just a fancy foot massage.
Fact: Massage relaxes muscles, while reflexology uses targeted pressure maps on the feet, hands, or face to stimulate specific nerve pathways corresponding to internal organs and body systems
Myth: A reflexologist can diagnose your illnessesFact: Practitioners never diagnose, prescribe, or treat specific medical conditions.
They evaluate tension patterns to help the body restore its own equilibrium.

Myth: If a reflex point hurts, that organ is diseased.
Fact: Tenderness usually indicates local congestion, stress, or crystal deposits in the nerve endings, not a medical emergency or physical disease in the matching organ
Myth: Reflexology can cure chronic diseases.
Fact: It is a complementary therapy, not a medical cure. It works alongside conventional medicine to manage symptoms, reduce stress, and improve quality of life.

Myth: It is too ticklish to be enjoyable.
Fact: The pressure used in reflexology is firm, static, and precise.
This deep touch bypasses the superficial nerve receptors that trigger a ticklish reaction
Myth: Reflexology is a modern New Age fad.Fact:
This practice has ancient roots stretching back thousands of years, with historical evidence of zone and pressure therapies found in ancient Egypt, China, and early Native American cultures.

Myth: Reflexology is strictly limited to the feet.
Fact: Micro-maps of the body exist all over. Reflexology can be highly effective when performed on the hands, ears, or face, making it accessible for people with foot injuries
Myth: You have to believe in it for it to work.
Fact: It relies on physiological relaxation responses rather than the placebo effect. This is why it is often effective for infants, children, and animals who have no concept of the therapy.

Myth: One session will permanently fix your issues.
Fact: While one session provides immediate stress relief, chronic issues generally require a regular, accumulative course of sessions to encourage long-term balance
Myth: There is absolutely no scientific basis for it.
Fact: Peer-reviewed studies show that reflexology significantly reduces anxiety, lowers heart rates, and helps manage pain by shifting the nervous system out of "fight or flight" and into a healing rest state.
