💕 A little reminder for my lovely clients… 💕

I really hate having to write a post like this, but I hope you’ll understand where I’m coming from. 🫶🏼

I completely appreciate that life happens, and sometimes things come up unexpectedly — I genuinely do understand that. However, when an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, it’s incredibly difficult for me to fill that space at such short notice.

Today alone, I’ve had two last-minute reschedules and a no-show, which has meant losing £90 of income that I’ve had no opportunity to recover. As a small, home-based business, every appointment really does matter, and these cancellations have a much bigger impact on me than you might realise.

I have always tried to be as flexible and understanding as possible with my regular clients, and I’ve never wanted to take deposits from you because I’ve always preferred to work on trust. 💗 I really don’t want to have to change that.

So, please, if you need to cancel or move your appointment, I would be so grateful if you could give me at least 24 hours’ notice wherever possible. This gives me a chance to offer the appointment to someone else.

If something genuinely unavoidable happens at the last minute, please don’t feel awful or worry about telling me — these things happen. ❤️ However, my cancellation policy does still mean that the appointment will need to be paid for, as I have reserved that time specifically for you and am unlikely to be able to fill it at such short notice.

I absolutely love what I do and I’m so grateful for every single one of you who supports my little business. 🥹💕 I would hate for repeated last-minute cancellations and no-shows to put the future of my business at risk.

I’m hoping this is simply a gentle reminder and that, moving forward, we can all be a little mindful of the time that goes into running a small business.
