Still glowing a bit from last Saturday’s Shutter Club photowalk in Glasgow. I spent half the day juggling palettes, powders and the odd runaway lash… and honestly, that’s my happy place.
We had2 MUA, 1 Hairstylist, 5 models, 3 locations, and around 30 photographers who brought such a creative buzz. It was an editorial high fashion theme, which I love slipping into whenever I get the chance. A fun shift from my usual bridal and soft glam jobs.
Everyone worked so hard to make it all come together. I kept having those small moments where I thought, yep, this is why I love doing makeup.

Soft. Effortless. Timeless.
There’s something about a look that feels lived in—like it belongs to the moment rather than performing for it. For this beautiful bride, we went with glowing, natural skin, softly defined eyes, and a touch of warmth to bring everything together. Her hair was loosely gathered into a romantic, textured bun, finished with tiny floral accents that caught the light just right.
Simple, but never plain. Elegant, but still her.
