We have some exciting news to bring you.
We are pleased to welcome Technical director Melissa to our fab team at Browns.

My hairdressing journey began in 1996, when I left school at just 15 and started my apprenticeship in Lewes. I qualified in 1998, and nearly three decades later, I still love what I do!

My style is friendly, approachable and client-focused. I take the time to understand what my clients want and work with them to create a look that suits their personality, lifestyle and individual needs. Whether you’re looking for a complete change or simply want to refresh your current style, I want you to feel comfortable, listened to and confident.
After almost 30 years in the industry, I still feel incredibly passionate about hairdressing and, most importantly, about making my clients feel amazing when they leave the salon.

My speciality are colour. highlighting, cutting , hair up for special occasions.

To mark Melissa joining the team we are offering a complimentary blowdry on all cut and blowdrys.
The offer is valid from September 29th to October 24th.

Melissa working week:
Tuesdays 9-5pm
Wednesday 9-5pm
Every other Friday 9-6pm

Meet our Artistic director Ian,
Some of you have already met Ian and he’s been working his magic on you for the last couple of weeks.

Ian brings many years of industry experience, specialising in precision cutting, creative colouring and in‑depth consultations that put the client at the centre of every decision. His work blends technical skill with artistic vision, ensuring every cut and colour is tailored, polished and beautifully considered.

To mark Ian joining us we are giving you the chance to get to know him and his work with every colour service you will receive a complimentary blowdry.
