We’ve created something a little different for October — a deeply relaxing 70-minute Browns ritual designed to help you pause, release and restore.

Our signature Scalp Pressure-Point Ritual uses slow, intentional pressure across the scalp, temples, hairline and neck — helping to release everyday tension, encourage deeper relaxation and quieten a busy mind.

The ritual then flows into:

✨ Relaxing facial treatment & massage
✨ Hand & arm massage
✨ Neck & shoulder release
✨ Warm towels
✨ Quiet time to simply switch off

We’ve had some exciting new things arriving at Browns this week.

A New Chapter for Browns

Since opening our doors in 2005, Browns has always been about more than hair.

In 2010 we expanded our offering to include beauty treatments, allowing us to care for our clients in a more holistic way. Over the years we have been privileged to share life’s biggest moments with you – weddings, celebrations, new beginnings, and sometimes the more challenging chapters that come with illness, stress, hair loss, and changes in confidence.

Today, Browns is entering an exciting new chapter.

As part of our salon refurbishment, we are creating a space centred around health, wellbeing and self-care. A place where clients can take time out from the pressures of everyday life and feel truly looked after.

Our vision is simple: to offer trusted advice, exceptional services and genuine care that supports both how you look and how you feel.

Alongside our hair and beauty expertise, we are introducing new wellness-focused beauty treatments designed to encourage relaxation, mindfulness and restoration.
We are also delighted to be partnering with local Lewes company Ancient + Brave, whose nutritional supplements support healthy hair and skin ,strength and overall wellbeing from within.

For me ,this journey has become deeply personal.
Following an introduction in trichology course last year ,with further qualifications planned over the coming year, Browns is expanding its knowledge of hair and scalp health to better support clients experiencing concerns such as hair thinning, hair loss and scalp conditions.

Our goal is not simply to provide treatments.

Our goal is to provide reassurance, confidence and support.

In a world that can often feel fast-paced, uncertain and overwhelming, we believe everyone deserves time for themselves, expert guidance they can trust, and a place where they leave feeling lighter, calmer and more positive than when they arrived.

We look forward to welcoming you into the new Browns.
