Amelia worked absolute wonders for her client recently.

Now, colour changes like this one can’t always be done in one appointment. It all depends on what has been used previously, how deep the previous colour is in the hair, what depth you’re starting with and where you want to get too, there’s lots and lots of variables.

Although Amelia’s client was with us for most of the day and had multiple services, this particular transformation was done in a day… and what a transformation it is!

The old pink colour cleansed out and removed, then fresh blonde put through out and tones to perfection. Oh, and then that fresh bob too 👌🏻

Our balcony room has had a fresh lick of paint and a little move around, we hope you like it 😍

It’s also, just like down stairs, got a shiny new coffee machine ☕️

Our “balcony room” is a designated space for you to chill and unwind whilst your colour develops. 30-45 minutes of you time, away from the rest of the salon, away from the world! To read a magazine, a book, to daydream… to work if you so wish 😘

A top of the range coffee machine with a wide variety of drinks is there for you to help yourself to as well as speciality teas and soft drinks in our SMEG UK & Ireland fridge. A space just for you 😘

We’re always thinking of how we can make your experience with us memorable time and time again and so many clients make comments like the salon is their happy place ❤️ it’s these comments that lets us know that the work we put in is working. There’s no doubt that our balcony room, a mezzanine looking over the rest of the salon, is a big part of those feelings.

We have new coffee machines ☕️

Whilst we have always been known for how good our complementary coffees and hot chocolates are it was time to say goodbye to the machines that had done us proud for the past 5 years and to invest in new ones.

Invest in the client experience is something we always do and things like this don’t come cheap! But for us it’s important our clients have the best of everything.

Great hair is a given, it’s all the little (and big) AJS touches that we hope make it special for you. We strive to constantly evaluate our offering and keep evolving to ensure we offer our lovely clients the very best we can in every part of their client journey.

So please, all enjoy your coffees, hot chocolates, teas and soft drinks both whilst your stylist works on your hair and when you’re on the mezzanine floor in the dedicated space for your relaxation whilst your colour develops, there’s a second coffee machine and fridge in this space ❤️ (thank you for your patience whilst this has had a little work done to it over the past couple of weeks)

We hope we’re not JUST a salon, we work hard to be more than that and the feedback we receive from all of you constantly makes us proud that we are so many people’s “happy place”
