Hi all!

I thought I should share a bit of an update as to what’s been going on behind the scenes and as to why there’s been so many cancellations in the last few weeks!

Earlier this month, I developed severe back, stomach and leg pain that left me struggling to walk. After initially being told it was a kidney infection and sciatica, I ended up in A&E due to the severity of the pain. Following tests and scans, I was diagnosed with a DVT, PE, and severe pelvic inflammation with infection.

It was a huge shock and a very scary experience. I spent a week in hospital receiving treatment and am now continuing with further tests to determine the cause.
I was told to go back to life as normal on discharge which I did try to do 4 days later by going back to tanning but it set me back even further. This obviously meant I had to cancel on several more clients which those who know me I HATE cancelling and will only do it if I really have no choice!

I can’t thank the staff at Burton Hospital AMU enough and I am so grateful for the care I received. I am so lucky to have got the diagnosis early on as it could have been a lot more life threatening!

Thank you to all my wonderful clients for your patience, understanding and kind messages. I’m hoping to return to work from Monday, but if I need additional recovery time, I’ll keep anyone affected updated as soon as possible.
