Moving On Up

This morning, the students enjoyed a lovely breakfast out at Caifé Glor. Great fun and laughter was had by all! ☕️☺️

Lovely day spent with our friends from Foyle Down Syndrome Trust at their sports day event followed by a picnic in the sun ☀️

An end of summer treat day today with a fun filled visit from Joanne at Crafty Teddies, a delicious BBQ by chef Harry and Icecream & slushies from Kings Kones. Summer bingo and karaoke thrown in too made it a fantastic Friday!!

Moving On Up was all go yesterday…

Summer canvas art, hair & makeup prep for Emma’s musical theatre show and the newest addition of Angela’s grandchildren, baby Katie’s first visit. A lovely start to the weekend

Our annual trip to Currys Funpark Portrush and birthday celebrations for our August ladies, Steffi & Ceara.

Finished off with a delicious chippy lunch at Kraken Fish and treats by the sea. Couldn’t ask for more on a day out in the Port!

Today started off with celebrations for the July birthdays of Ryan, Christian and Louise. Then off to Rosepark Farm Ballymoney for a fun filled morning with the bonus of great weather.

No outing is complete without a stop for food and again the Bushtown Hotel & Spa did not disappoint with thanks to Kerry and the team!

⚽️ World Cup 2026 ⚽️

Each student took part in our World Cup sweepstake, congratulations to Alina’s team who came out on top winning the trophy for Spain. Everyone else received a football pen and keyring for taking part.

Celebrations galore for our favourite chef Harry turning the big 6-0 tomorrow!

Happy Birthday in Makaton, presents, handmade cards, Harpers Hill Cake, chef party hats, a zimmer frame made it all a great day! Not forgetting a big thank you to Phil Barron for the disco, karaoke & craic and to Fire & Stone pizzeria Limavady for the delicious food as always!

Thankfully we have a week off now on our Summer break to recharge 😎

A wee scoot down to the Port today to enjoy the sunshine and icecream. We also visited the Portrush Coastal Zone, a lovely afternoon all round!
