Today, on Remembrance Sunday, I take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by so many who served our country with bravery and honor. Having spent 11 years in the RAF, I know first hand the courage it takes to put on the uniform. My tour in Afghanistan brought with it memories I will carry forever, both of friendship and loss. I lost two friends there, and there were too many occasions where we stood to salute others who never made it home.

Their courage, their dedication, and their sacrifice are things I will never forget. Today, we remember them all, from every generation, every branch, and every corner of our nation. May we honor their memory not just today, but every day, by living lives worthy of their sacrifice.
