When this young lady showed me her inspo pic, I just knew we were not going achieve what she wanted 😫
It was black and a VERY white icy blonde, she had a hair history of being black previously and has natural red tones in her hair.
Sometimes we have to manage expectations as hairdressers, and that's hard!
But I promised I would do my best. And she agreed to go with the flow 🙏
Her hair had other ideas (just as I expected) it just did not want to lift, so we had a few options.
We ended up leaning into the red, and thankfully she absolutely loved it!! 😍🍒

And I've got to admit, even though it is far from the original want, it just looks fabulous on her! 🙌
One thing I will always pride myself on is being honest and transparent about what is achievable, but sometimes something more gorgeous takes it place anyway 🫶
