Hello everyone, it is with a hugely heavy heart that, due to unforeseen and personal circumstances, I have to announce the closure of Phoebe Johnson Beauty. I’m sorry for being so quiet recently, I have been trying to deal with and sort out a lot of things, but I have made a decision which I feel is best and right. I’ve had the best year and a half, it’s been eventful but I’ve always wanted to run a business so I loved every minute of it and I hope that in the future I will be able to again. Thank you so much to everyone that chose me, whether you were a regular client or you only came as a one off, you were the reason I was able to do this so I will be forever grateful. I classed you all as my friends so this is an extremely difficult decision, but whoever you choose after me will be lucky to have you as clients. If anyone needs any help choosing a new Nail Tech, please don’t hesitate to message me as I would be more than happy to recommend some to you. I will miss you all and thank you once again ❤️

Hi guys, just wanted to give you a little update.

You may have seen that beauty salons are allowed to reopen on Monday, but it’s taking longer than I expected to move into my new space and sort everything out, so I’m afraid I will not be opening on Monday. I’m trying my best to get everything ready as soon as I can and I’ll update you again as soon as I know anything more. Those on my waiting list will be contacted first so if you haven’t already been added and would like to be then please let me know.

I want to let all my lovely clients know that I have taken an online COVID-19 Prevention course, meaning I have refreshed my Health and Safety and Hygiene knowledge and have also trained in how to adequately prevent the spreading of the virus once I can reopen again, minimising the risk of another pandemic in the future! If anyone has any further concerns or questions then please don’t hesitate to get in touch, but please be assured that measures are being taken to ensure that my workplace will be as safe and hygiene as possible 🙌🏼

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Happy Friday everyone! I miss you all 💕

I’m going to create a waiting list of people to contact first regarding appointments when I am able to reopen. Of course I still have no idea when this will be, but I’m getting prepared now and feel that this is the fairest way to do things, so if you’d like first choice of my first available appointments then please comment on this post or send me a message and I will add you to my list!

I’m also in the process of moving locations (don’t worry, not too far away)! This was supposed to happen a couple of months ago, but given the current circumstances it obviously had to be postponed until it is safe for us to return to work, so this may mean I have to remain closed for a week or two after the lockdown is lifted while I move my things in etc. This also means my opening hours will be adjusted slightly, but you’ll be pleased to know that I will hopefully be working an extra late night so I can fit more of you in! This is pretty much all the information I have at the moment, but I will keep you updated as and when I find out more and I’m working on opening as soon as I can!

My second set of quarantine nails❤️ I went through a looong phase of hating short nails and never choosing red for myself but this happened the other day 😂

Phoebe Johnson Beauty is 1 today! Time really does fly, I can’t believe that it has already been 1 whole year since 18 year old me first set up my very own business! I was terrified, I had no confidence as I had no clients at all and I just couldn’t imagine ever succeeding, but looking back now I am so proud of how far I have come! I still can’t quite believe that I have such lovely clients who choose to keep returning to me every month, you are the sole reason I get to do what I love so I am so grateful for all of you! It has always been a dream of mine to have my own business, so it seems so surreal that I started at such a young age with absolutely nothing and have managed to keep it going for a whole year! The current situation of COVID-19 really scared me at first as it is a big deal to have to cancel everybody’s appointment without knowing when I can return to work as small businesses struggle to continue trading at the best of times, but you have all been so amazing and I know now that I will be returning to the loveliest clients I could ask for. Self isolating is not how I imagined I would be celebrating today, but it has allowed me to take some time to reflect on this amazing year and realise I should be very proud of my achievements - it has not been an easy ride and there have been ups and downs, but it has all been worth it as it makes today even more special. Thank you all for your support, whether you are a regular client or you have just been to me once, you are the reason I am still here today! I can’t wait to see all of you soon and I’m looking forward to many more years ❤️

This is how I’ve spent my first day off ❤️

To me, this couldn’t have come at a worse time as I was just starting to get much busier and I feel like my business was just starting to properly take off. But I would like to thank you all for the incredible support you have given me, I was terrified to close as there is no guaranteeing all my clients will return to me after all of this, but you have all put my mind at ease and made me feel so much better 😢

I’m going to use this time positively to develop my skills by watching tutorials, gather new inspiration for all the (hopefully) upcoming summer nails and think of new business ideas. I’m also going to learn some new recipes, do plenty of home workouts, take my dog for some longer walks, start a new Netflix series with my mum and hopefully learn a language 😬

I hope you all can take some positives from this too. This is an opportunity for us to spend time with our families and to better ourselves ready to bounce back after this is all over. The world will be in such high spirits after this and we will appreciate the little things in our lives so much more ❤️

❗️SALON CLOSURE❗️
I’m sure you have all been expecting this anyway, but it comes with great sadness that I announce I am officially closed as of now until further notice. When Phoebe Johnson Beauty opened only a short while ago, I never imagined that I would ever have to close at all, let alone so soon, but currently the safety of myself, my family, my friends and all of my clients is my top priority. I am in the process of contacting everyone who had an appointment booked and I will still be actively posting and replying to messages, but no more bookings will be taken at all for the foreseeable future. For anybody interested, I still have some gift vouchers that are available to purchase. Thank you all for your continued support and loyalty, this was only the beginning for me so I am praying I am able to pick up where I left off when I am able to come back. I urge you all to please stay safe and follow the advice we are being given - remember that the sooner we all do as we are being asked, the sooner we can get back to normal. See you on the other side❤️
