THIS IS A PROCESS....
This process when clients have used box colour sticks to the hair , its not like your salon colours.
They have high pigments which sticks to the hair and will leave warm undertones in the hair until it has fully grown out!
Expect warmth when stripping hair back to go lighter , it is a process and it does take time and care.
Perfect example below of a box colour hair lifted for the first time with babylights to breakup the warmth a little.

🍪🍯 STEP BY STEP 🍯🍪

A wee hair cleanse to start off this transformation, taking the black box dye out as much as possible without causing damage.

A copper canvas to work with, using foiling techniques to create a softer look & sticking with warmer tones of brown to compliment the tone of the hair.

Finishing off by toning & a wee snip 😍

This process was done using Matrix to protect the hair in this process

I laugh when clients say they use the expensive one in boots!
Most people think hairdressers suggest good shampoo to make extra money off their clients. However, THIS is proof how bad build up can get on the hair!

I was lightening a woman’s hair yesterday and noticed how resistant it was to lighten, and this I realized why. What u see at the bottom of this processing cap is buildup literally melting off the hair! The ingredients in certain shampoos are basically coating your hair with plastic. It may feel “silky smooth” at first, but after a while you get so much buildup your hair dies from the inside out, because it can’t get any moisture through the layer of coating.

Makes you think twice before grabbing that Pantene,Herbal essence,dove etc off the shelf next time 😉

Side note: everyone wondering what’s a good shampoo; your main focus is to look for products without silicone, sulfates, or parabens.

What a lovely transformation change for Karen, from grey roots & a washed out blonde tint to a warm blonde and highlights .
So much better for a pale complexion that little bit of warmth makes such a difference.
