There’s a massive difference in how curls hold:
Natural Hair: Can be more stubborn and prone to losing shape, especially in
humidity. It requires the right prep products to create “grip.”
Extensions: These are a cheat code for curls. Because the hair is often more porous,
it holds a style for days. If you’re struggling with longevity, a few well-placed
extensions can provide the structure your natural hair might be missing.
From Flat to Full: The volume secret
Dealing with thick hair, heavy and just goes flat no matter what ?
The key to making those curls stay is all the prep and set.
-The Prep: Use a lightweight volumizing spray at the root to give it some grit without the weight
-The technique: Use a smaller barrel for tighter curls
-The set: This is the most important part- don’t touch them. Let the curls sit and cool down for a while before you even think about running your fingers through them.
-The dress out: Once they are set , you can comb out (wide comb) or Shake out, gently
