No — and this is something that’s really worth understanding before choosing your laser treatment
With the Lynton Evolve, I can utilise two different treatment modes: Standard Mode and Motion Mode, allowing treatments to be tailored to the area being treated and your individual tolerance
If you’ve ever experienced waxing, or that familiar “rubber band flick” sensation associated with some traditional laser treatments, you’ll know that laser hair removal can sometimes feel uncomfortable
One of the reasons I invested in the Evolve was its ability to use Motion Mode, which gradually builds heat within the hair and follicle rather than delivering individual pulses in the same way
Combined with IceTip cooling technology, this allows us to target the hair follicle while keeping the skin cooled and making the treatment considerably more comfortable.
For many clients, Motion Mode can feel like nothing more than a gentle warmth — and for some areas, it can be virtually pain-free.
And I’m confident enough in the comfort of the treatment to put it to the test
