Collinge & Co Training

From Monday the 10th of November until our Christmas shutdown we’ll be holding our annual food drive for Micah Liverpool, a local social justice charity who provide emergency food aid and employability support to help combat poverty and unemployment.

Please join us in supporting this fantastic charity; if you’d like to contribute to the drive, we’ll be collecting goods such as:

- Toiletries
- Children’s toys
- Tinned foods (e.g tinned fruit & veg, soups)
- Baby supplies
- Dry goods (e.g pasta, noodles)
- Tea and coffee
- UHT milk
- Biscuits, snack bars and cereal bars

Our 2025 open day dates are here! On the 20th of February and 8th of May, you can pop in from 10-3pm and have a chat to our training team, take a tour of our facilities and see some of our current apprentices at work in our training salon 💇‍♀️

We are so pleased to share that Jess (), one of our Graduates, has been selected as a finalist for the Wella Trendvision Xposure Award ! Collinge & Co Training is OUTSTANDING! 🎉

We are very excited to announce that following an Ofsted Inspection in June 2024, Collinge & Co Training have received grades of Outstanding across all areas, including Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management, Apprenticeships and Overall Effectiveness.

Inspectors reported that apprentices “thoroughly enjoy the amazing experience they have while training at Collinge & Co Training”, in a “warm, inclusive and welcoming environment.”

The report also highlighted how “Apprentices achieve their full potential because of the expertise and experience of their tutors.”

Managing Director of Collinge & Co, Charlie Collinge says, “It's a fantastic achievement to be awarded Outstanding by Ofsted. The training team, under the direction of Alison Gibson, deserve this recognition as they are dedicated to the development and learning experience for the apprentices we train. I am very proud of our skilled tutors and the whole training team that support all the apprentices to ensure they reach their potential. I would like to acknowledge the apprentices and the salons we provide training for – the high pass rate, and the number of distinctions the apprentices achieve, show that they are equally as ambitious in reaching their goals.”
