Just revisiting our customers experience and I believe this sums us up # #

Haircuts, teeth brushing, medicine, nails, needles… the list goes on. For us, all of these have always been horrendous. After years of trying everything & every hairdresser, I’d honestly given up. I thought Teddy would never sit for a haircut, I’d be trimming his fringe while he slept forever, and soon his hair would be longer than mine. It just wasn’t going to happen for us. Then, about 18 months ago, my Dad insisted he’d heard of someone amazing in Old Swan. I couldn’t face it again, it had always been so traumatic, so I told him he could take Teddy instead. They managed to get him a short back and sides, though it was really upsetting for him. I said you don’t have to take him again. But my Dad persisted, taking him every 6 weeks and making it into a day out. Today, I finally went with them. Honestly, I’d been told by so many people that it was “cruel” to put him through the upset for the sake of hair. But, I was desperate to see how he always came home with such a perfect cut.. I’m in awe of the team at @avaharrisonhair 💇‍♂️I thought I’d make it worse by being there, but actually, he seemed to settle more with me around. He can’t tell me with words, but when he smiled and pointed at the building as we arrived, & I said haircut, when he showed me his favourite book that he reads in there every time, that told me everything. ❤️ Yes, he was upset during, but he tolerated it. He was sat on my knee and I’m covered head to toe in hair, but it was worth it!! Because of the patience, kindness, and understanding from the girls in there, Teddy has had his back-to-school haircut, something I never thought would be possible for us. It may seem so small to some, but to me, it’s massive. Eternally grateful 🫶🏻
