After an appointment with my consultant, a decision I’d been quietly coming to terms with for some time became final.

Six babies lost, and one chemical pregnancy. Knowing one was a little girl will always hold a special place in my heart.

People often ask how I support women through fertility, IVF, pregnancy and loss while carrying my own grief. The honest answer is that some days can be difficult. But being able to listen, care and help someone feel less alone gives that pain a little purpose.

And although I may never get to bring a baby of my own into the world, I’ve been blessed with a child who sees me as his mum. That love doesn’t take away the grief, but it holds a beautiful place alongside it—and being his mum is something I’ll always treasure. 🤍
