Over the years, Serenity Healing has become so much more than just a treatment room. It’s become a little space for people to pause, reset, talk, switch off, feel supported and simply have some time for themselves

From acupuncture and holistic therapies, to fertility support, self-care treatments and my little online shop, everything I do has come from a genuine love of helping people feel a little better — physically, mentally and emotionally

Running a small business on my own definitely has its challenges, but then I stop and think about how many people have walked through my door, trusted me with their stories, returned time and time again and supported what I’ve created… and it really is kinda cool 🥹🤍

Today we found out that Ayden’s school placement has been approved by the local authority, and in September he’ll be moving from mainstream into an SEMH school. He’ll finally be in an environment that can support his needs, his education, and his mental wellbeing in a way that mainstream would never be able to

Anyone who has been through this process will know how hard it is to prove that a specialist placement is the right option, especially when a mainstream school says it can meet a child’s needs. The odds are often not in your favour, and getting a placement approved takes an incredible amount of evidence, persistence, and determination

First it was his EHCP, then his diagnosis, and now this. I don’t care if this comes across as big-headed or boastful, because I know how much I’ve fought for him every step of the way. This has been years of appointments, paperwork, meetings, phone calls, emails, and advocating for a little boy who deserved to be heard. I alone did that for him, and I’m so proud that I honestly feel like I could cry!

And to make his day even better, he also got his very first bank card… so in his words, this is officially the best day ever 😂
