What a weekend at 🦒🐘🦓🐅🐆🦏

Last weekend we stayed at the West Midlands Safari Lodges and what an experience it was! We stayed in one of the Giraffe Lodge’s and had the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the herd in their house before we headed out to explore the rest of the park.

Being awake at 2.00am in the morning and being stood outside on a balcony hearing a lion roar literally outside your door was so surreal!

We have had the most magical day yesterday and the last few weeks on the run up to Christmas have been amazing 🎅🏼♥️✨🎄👦🏼

Honestly from the bottom of my heart I can’t thank everyone enough who has contributed in some way or another to help us make these special memories together. It’s been a rollercoaster few weeks again with my health but that’s never going to get in our way, we take that bad with the good and on the days it’s a struggle to leave the house or we have to cut our time short that’s okay to because we keep moving and I will continue to give all that I’ve got!

Yesterday I had my first Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy session at ✨

Very lucky to have the support of Karen and xx

We have been quiet the last few days as we have been on a magical journey to Disney!

I won’t sugar coat it’s been a LOT! The emotions, the tantrums, the happy tears and the sad..but LOOK AT THAT FACE! ✨

Thank you to every single person who made this happen. From the fundays, the bake sales, the football matches, the go fund me and our friends and family doing whatever it took to get us here!

It’s nearly time to head home via a little London pit stop tomorrow to visit the Queen.. (I haven’t got the heart to tell Isaac she’s not there anymore 🙈🫣)

As of next week I will be starting some alternative therapies and giving everything I’ve got to fighting this !

Today is my Isaacs final day at 💙😢

I remember dropping him off on his first day like it was yesterday! I sat in tears in the car outside for a good twenty minutes before I headed off to work. I knew he was in amazing hands tho because from the second we rang that doorbell and stepped inside on our first viewing I knew it was the nursery for us.

The staff have become like a second family to us and I can’t thank each and everyone of them enough for the love and support they have not only shown Isaac these last few years but myself and our family. There’s been more tears than I care to recall and we are showered with hugs at every opportunity. We are going to miss you all so much but thankfully we bump into you all on a regular basis outside of nursery so this won’t be the last you see of us.

Everyone always gives me credit for what a gorgeous little boy Isaac is but he wouldn’t be half the little boy he is today without them. They say it takes a village to raise a child and KIB will always be apart of our village!

We love you KIDS IN BLOOM PRESCOT! ✨

Class of 2025!

What a crazy few days it’s been 🚗 ⚡️

Isaac turns 4 this Friday, so we had a gorgeous weekend celebrating with his nursery friends on Sunday and we have another little gathering this Friday with our specials..before we head off to DISNEY on Monday!

Disney has always been a dream of ours and although it’s not quite how I pictured things would be I’m getting to make the most special memories with my baby and we really couldn’t have done it so quickly without all the love and support that’s poured in this last few weeks ✨

I will keep sharing all the amazing fun days, raffles and events that are being set up in the community in the following weeks. It’s absolutely amazing what our community can pull together in such a short period of time and the most important part of all this for me is getting to spend time in the company of all these fabulous people making memories 🫶🏼

This last few days has been an absolute whirlwind! Usually I’m quite a private person and you only really get to see the real deal if you’re part of my “inner circle” so to speak or it’s something I’m wanting to share (so please don’t take offence when I’ve ignored everyone’s requests on my personal accounts!) but since Thursday it’s like I’ve exposed myself to the world for all to see and it’s been quite frightening but somewhat a sense of normality at the same time.

I’ve never been a big social media person really, the idea of my mush being plastered all over the place just wasn’t for me but yet here I am with more online presence in the last few days than I’ve had in a lifetime!

So when the Echo and other platforms have contacted me it felt right to start sharing my story.. so here it is a small snippet of the chaos that has unfolded in the last 3 years.

I didn’t really document any of my journey to this point but the little bits I do have I will be sharing and my journey going forward and I’d also love to share our adventure with Isaac that you are all making possible if anyone is even interested in seeing 😆🫣
