It’s day two on our Microblading Course and my student Rasa is smashing it. All my students have access to my online learning and pre course study materials, and Rasa has been focussed on getting a pattern in her head.

I’ve provided constructive feedback on her areas of opportunity, so she can refund her skills and level up 👆🏼

Her pattern is beautiful, but strokes didn’t seem clean and crisp. I asked her to stay upright whilst blading, looking down her handtool and not looking from the side, less pressure, hold the handtool lightly and to roll her thumb to curve the strokes, and look at the differencd its made 👉🏼🥰

Thais is fundamental training, but nothing about it is BASIC!

𝐋𝐢𝐅𝐓 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥 🍊🍋🧂 – Treating Stubborn Yellow Iron Oxide

This client previously underwent multiple laser tattoo removal sessions to break down old PMU pigment. The laser successfully removed the black carbon/iron oxide and significantly reduced the red iron oxide, but as often happens with warm pigments, the yellow iron oxide remained.

Yellow pigment can be one of the most difficult colours to remove with laser because it reflects the laser wavelength rather than absorbing it, making further laser treatments ineffective. This is where LiFT saline tattoo removal becomes an excellent alternative.

As one of only a handful of certified LiFT trainers in the UK, I specialise in advanced PMU correction and removal procedures, and yes we offer both treatments and training in 𝐋𝐢𝐅𝐓 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥 🎓

Technique tips 👇

• Cleaning my needle before re-dipping to avoid diluting the LiFT solution

• Maintaining a strong skin stretch throughout

• Applying LiFT directly onto the skin while working

• Using circular motions, pointillism & saturation techniques for maximum implantation

• Leaving the solution on for 9 minutes in 3-minute intervals

The Only Time in PMU We Want Blood 🩸

In most PMU procedures we aim to minimise bleeding, but saline removal is different. Light pinpoint bleeding is actually beneficial, as it shows the skin has been opened sufficiently for the LiFT solution to pe*****te effectively and bind to the unwanted pigment particles.

The key is controlled trauma, enough to encourage pigment lifting while still respecting the integrity of the skin and supporting healthy healing outcomes.
