Leading the UK skin clinic movement in preventative health | Building results, community & legacy 🩸 #ScienceYouCanTrust

03/05/2026

If your clinic is struggling with client retention, it’s not a marketing problem… it’s a journey problem.

Every day I see incredible ā€œbefore & afterā€ results being advertised… but what’s missing is the truth behind them.

Those results don’t come from one treatment.
They come from a plan. A process. A partnership between practitioner and client.

Here’s what’s really happening in too many clinics:
A client walks in asking for microneedling or a chemical peel because they’ve seen it online…
And instead of guiding them, we deliver it.

But what if their skin barrier is compromised?
What if their internal health is working against the treatment?

Now you’ve got:
Excessive downtime
Poor results
A disappointed client who never returns

That’s not just a treatment issue, that’s a retention issue.

We have to get back to being professionals.

āœ”ļø Start with a proper consultation
āœ”ļø Assess the skin (not just visually, but functionally)
āœ”ļø Consider a short ā€œtest + treatā€ approach (even a 15-min skin prep facial can tell you everything)
āœ”ļø Focus on barrier repair first, not aggressive treatments

And here’s the part many clinics are still missing…

Internal health matters.

We’re now testing clients and consistently seeing low Omega-3 Index levels, which directly impacts:
– Skin inflammation
– Healing response
– Treatment outcomes

If the body isn’t supported internally, your treatments are already working at a disadvantage.

So instead of one-hit treatments, think long-term:

šŸ’” Build a skin journey
šŸ’” Create annual treatment plans
šŸ’” Introduce ā€œskin clubsā€ or memberships
šŸ’” Combine external treatments with internal support
šŸ’” Prepare the skin before progressing to advanced treatments

Because real results, the kind that retain clients… are built, not rushed.

Clients don’t just want treatments.
They want direction.
They want trust.
They want a plan.

And when you give them that, retention takes care of itself.

You don’t have to change the world to make a difference.
Sometimes, helping one person is everything.

Lift someone. Back them. Believe in them.

That’s how real impact starts.

Because when you help someone else rise, you create something bigger than yourself.

And that might be the most powerful achievement of all.

I’m looking for a different kind of person right now…

Not the ones sitting on the fence.
Not the ones watching everyone else win.
Not the ones waiting for the ā€œperfect timeā€ (it doesn’t exist).

I’m looking for people who:
• Think outside the box
• Refuse to settle for average
• Are done with just ā€œgetting byā€
• Actually want to build a life they deserve

The kind of people who want:
āœˆļø Freedom to travel when they want
šŸ” To upgrade their home
šŸš— To upgrade their car
šŸ’ø To earn more than just covering bills
šŸ“ˆ To build a real retirement plan

Because here’s the truth…

Right now, there are people in rooms like this šŸ‘‡
Winning. Growing. Smiling. Backing themselves.

And every single one of them started exactly where you are.

Some people are already earning a few thousand extra a month.
Some are pushing through ranks.
Some are completely changing their lives.

And others?

They’re still watching.

Still sitting on the sidelines.
Still waiting.
Still getting splinters from the fence.

So I’ll ask you…

Are you one of these people?
Or do you want to become one of them?

Because this isn’t about luck.
It’s not about timing.

It’s about a decision.

We’ve got the support, mentorship, and systems in place.
But it only works for people who are ready to move.

So… are you watching, or are you ready to go?

If it’s the second one…. message me šŸ”„

✨ Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) is real… and healing is possible ✨

This is one of my client’s journeys after long-term steroid use.

At the start:
šŸ”“ Inflamed
šŸ”„ Burning, reactive
🧩 Peeling & fragile
šŸ’” Skin barrier compromised

She was told: ā€œTSW isn’t real.ā€
But her experience — and her healing — say otherwise.

āø»

šŸ’” After stopping steroids, the skin can go through withdrawal:
• Redness & inflammation
• Burning/stinging
• Flaking & shedding
• Hypersensitivity

āø»

🌿 What we focused on:
āœ”ļø Repairing the skin barrier
āœ”ļø Removing irritants
āœ”ļø Gentle, supportive skincare
āœ”ļø Letting the skin heal

No quick fixes — just patience & consistency.

āø»

šŸ“ø Latest update (March):
Not perfect, but healing beautifully.
Calmer. Stronger. Rebuilding.

āø»

ā¤ļø If you’re going through this:
You’re not alone. Your skin isn’t broken. Healing is possible.

About Six Weeks Progress ā™„ļø

When she first came to me, she was barely sleeping. Constant twitching. Deep bone soreness. Intense nerve pain. Fragile, inflamed skin.

Today:
• Sleeping through the night
• Twitching resolved
• Bone soreness gone
• Nerve pain settled
• Skin rebuilding
• Inflammation significantly reduced

This is what happens when the body is supported properly.
Healing isn’t instant… but it is possible.

Topical Steroid Withdrawal recovery takes patience, consistency, and the right internal and external support. Proud of this progress.

Just been sent this along with an image of a teenagers face ā¬‡ļø and it’s what I’m seeing more and more lately.

Cleanser.
High-percentage actives.
Another active.
Heavy occlusive cream on top.

All because TikTok said so. Because an influencer said ā€œthis is the routine you NEED.ā€ Because someone with no skin education decided to play skin expert.

And now?
Barrier disruption everywhere.

Redness.
Burning.
Breakouts that aren’t acne, they’re inflammation.
Skin that can’t tolerate anything anymore.

Niacinamide 10% + zinc.
Sulphur cleansers.
Layering actives without understanding skin physiology.

Just because something is trending doesn’t mean it’s appropriate for YOUR skin. High-percentage actives are not harmless. Used incorrectly, they compromise the barrier fast.

And here’s the part that’s frustrating…

When the barrier is impaired, throwing supplements, oils or ā€œprotocolsā€ at it won’t fix it either. Even our test based protocols are not a magic plaster for a damaged skin barrier. You cannot out-supplement topical irritation. The skin still needs to be repaired correctly.

Skin is a living organ.
Not a trend.
Not a challenge.
Not content.

If you don’t understand corneocyte cohesion, lipid matrix function, TEWL, or inflammatory cascades… you shouldn’t be prescribing routines online.

Stay in your lane.

Because people are paying the price with their skin.

Barrier first. Always.

If your skin is stinging, reactive, breaking out suddenly, or ā€œnothing works anymoreā€ it’s definitely not that you need more actives.

It’s that you need less.

I’ve just floated out of Hamilton House and I’m not joking…

I feel like I’ve smoked something illegal.
(For the record, I have not šŸ˜‚)

They put me in this full-body compression suit called a Body Ballancer and it rhythmically inflates and deflates, pushing lymphatic fluid upwards through the body.

It’s basically a lymphatic workout… while you sit there doing absolutely nothing.

No needles.
No drama.
No effort.

Just wave-like pressure that supports circulation and helps move stagnant fluid.

And the result?

• Deep relaxation
• Heavy limbs turned light
• Brain switched off
• Nervous system fully down-regulated

I came out feeling like I’d had a 90-minute massage and a meditation retreat at the same time.

They’ve told me to hydrate, keep electrolytes up, no caffeine today and just let the body do its thing.

Honestly?
If you’re holding stress, feeling puffy, sluggish, wired-but-tired…

This is next level.

Hamilton House are building something special in the health & wellness space and I love collaborating with clinics that actually care about the nervous system as much as aesthetics.

10/10.
Would absolutely zip myself into the Michelin-man suit again.
