THE PROFILE: Temple & Forehead
As we age the temples become more hollow, this causes our brows to become Heavier and appear shorter. The forehead becomes more concaved as it gets bulkier over our brows contributing to our brows dropping lower
If you have hooded eyelids you may not be suitable for Botox in your forehead as this will drop your brows further, so by restoring volume loss in your temples and forehead it will help subtly lift your brows and smooth away some of the lines. It will also make your eyebrows appear longer and your face more youthful!
When I treat anyone for toxin I always assess for temple/ forehead volume loss because there’s no point in using toxin if there is volume loss as the result will be much better by first treating the volume loss. Toxin is like the rendering of a house, you don’t put new rendering on a house that needs new windows and doors? We need to fix the doors/ windows aka replace volume loss first and you will need LESS toxin.

Non surgical Rhinoplasty

This lady was such a laugh to have in! She travelled all the way from Birmingham to see me. She had always hated her nose and finally wanted to fix it.
Her main concern was the bump in the nose but also wanted to see if her tip could be lifted to avoid it dropping when she smiled
I used Small amounts of dermal filler to straighten her nose and lift the tip. There’s no downtime and results last 12-18months
It always amazes me the difference filler can make to how we view the nose!

▫️The importance of PROFILE BALANCING▫️

Our brain is hardwired to pick up on any aspect of our face that breaks the “ideal facial ratios” and all aspects of our face work together to compliment each other.
If one part of our face is off balance it causes a distraction to our brain and can make other areas of our face disproportionate to each other.
If you have a weak chin this will make you focus on your nose and make your nose appear bigger. This is why for any non surgical rhinoplasty patient that sees me I always assess the chin and if their chin is weak I enhance their chin FIRST!
A short / weak chin also can emphasise our lips so people wanting their lips enhanced actually require their chin balanced instead of their lips and this will make their lips more proportional to the rest of their face.
This patient wanted her nose straightening but after explaining the relationship between her nose and chin (her chin was weak) we agreed to treat both

Lip filler doesn’t have to be drastic…
Most of my patients wants extremely natural results. Depending on what result your after, I can choose the right density filler and use the appropriate amount to get the desired result
Here I have tweaked the volume in the lower lip to improve its proportion relative to the top lip
Natural results is what I always promise.

Our chin projection plays a significant role in how we view our jawline. Often people believe they lack jawline definition but this can be due to a weaker chin.

Our profile goes through changes with age, we start losing volume across the entire face which leads to sagging, increase muscle contraction and folds/ shadowing

I think we all might know someone (or ourselves) who has an insecurity about their nose.
This insecurity has often stemmed since childhood, it could have been a hurtful comment off a kid in school or just a general unhappiness with the shape and size of our nose
Noses give us character and a bump or deviation is not abnormal, I always think back to watching the X factor and Cheryl
Coles was known for her outstanding beauty but also the bump in her nose

I hope this benefits not only other injectors but also my patients. We all inject many different ways and get equally great outcomes so I hope someone out there learns something new from my videos
The Mid face is often only touched on when teaching cheeks. Sometimes it’s not even mentioned. When I first learnt cheeks - it was basically taught to only inject the lateral cheek with XYZ and to double amounts of you wanted a more dramatic result. This approach to treating everyone with the same injection points and amounts meant about 10% of my Patients looked better but often I made them look more gaunt and skeletal looking. It was not mentioned about how the midface is vital in smoothing the transition between the lateral and mid cheek and creating a soft transition from the tear trough to mid cheek resulting in a more lifted and youthful appearance.

Remember one thing… rejuvenation should look NATURAL
If you didn’t see the before photo it should be really hard to see what (if anything) has been done

I often get patients who have never considered having dermal filler anywhere else in their face but will have their nose treated to correct a deformity. The alternative options is 1. Surgery- which is completely irreversible or 2. Just live with it unhappy
Our nose plays such a vital role in how we view our face. If we are unhappy with our nose it can create a lot of self loathing and unhappiness in someone’s confidence. I’ve witnessed this first hand and I hand on heart believe that these treatments are one of the most rewarding I do. To change the way someone perceives the way they see themselves is priceless
I always perform a full assessment prior to treatment- this gives me the best opportunity to assess how much of an improvement I can make on a nose. Not all noses are the same, there are so many factors that’s determine the outcome of a result:
1. Skin thickness
2. Width of nose
3. How tight the space is to inject
4. Severity of any bumps
And much more. Make sure your practitioner has a thorough assessment and goes through all of the risks before you start with any treatment

So what’s different? If you saw just the after picture it would be very difficult to pin point exactly what she has had done. When you compare the two photos side by side that’s when the changes start becoming more apparent.
