Just a little health update from me 💛

Recovery after my surgery hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing. I’ve been dealing with an infection that just doesn’t seem to want to fully clear, and in hindsight I definitely pushed myself back to work a little too soon. Trying to jump back into normal life has left me completely exhausted, and frustratingly I’ve actually been in more pain since the operation than I was before it.

It’s been a pretty difficult few weeks physically and mentally, but I do finally feel like I might be starting to turn a corner 🤞

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has checked in, been understanding with appointments, and shown me kindness while I try to get myself back to where I was. If I could ask for just a little more patience and grace while I continue recovering, I’d appreciate it more than you know.

I’m back from my op and happy to say everything went well. Feeling very lucky (and very grateful).

Tommy has officially been promoted to top-tier nurse status… keeping a close eye on me and not leaving my side 🥰

I won’t lie, I’m in a fair bit of pain today, so it’s all about rest, cosy blankets, and letting my body do its thing. Hoping a little R&R works its magic over the next few days ✨

Just a little life update from me 💛

I’ll be going in for surgery on the 23rd of April, so I’ll be taking some time off to rest and recover. I’ve been told I need to take at least 2 weeks off, with the aim of returning to work on the 12th of May.

As much as I’d love to give a definite date, my return will depend on how my recovery goes, so there may be some slight changes if needed. I’ll keep you all updated along the way ✨
