Hi everyone!

I’m currently looking to take on a few new tutoring students following my recent graduation from the University of Bath, where I achieved a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science.

For the past 4 years, alongside my studies, I have tutored students in Chemistry, Biology, and Business. These were all subjects I studied myself through National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher, in which I achieved A grades.

Whether your child is looking to improve their confidence, prepare for exams, or push for the highest grades, I tailor every session to their individual needs. I also have experience tutoring students with Dyslexia and ADHD. Over the years, I’ve helped many students make significant improvements, including going from C/D grades and below to A grades.

One piece of feedback that means a lot to me came from a former student's parent:

‼️UPDATE ON ROADWORKS‼️

The works have moved beyond the salon now and are along by the grapes/doctors which means you can access us from Mid Calder side by road but not Calderwood side.

There are still road closed signs as you come in to East Calder but plenty of parking outside the salon and surrounding areas.

You can now access East Calder coming from Mid Calder and turn right at the lights onto Langton road. However there is no access from Tesco to beyond the salon.

Please leave extra time when arriving for your appointment.

The road into East Calder coming from Mid Calder is currently closed from the traffic lights therefor access to us is only from Calderwood end.

These works are ongoing for the next 5/6 weeks, we will keep updating as the works progress.

Carriageway resurfacing works on Main Street East Calder are planned between Saturday 27 June and Sunday 2 August.

The works will involve full resurfacing of approximately 450m worth of carriageway from the west side of the Main Street Junction with Langton Road to the Grapes Public House. Re-setting of all ironwork in the area and application of new carriageway road markings will also be completed. The project will be completed under several phases to ensure access to local properties is maintained. The works are planned for during the school holidays to minimise disruption.

Due to the nature of the works being undertaken, it will be necessary to close the carriageway while works are taking place. Vehicular Access will be maintained to residential and business premises when it is safe and practical to do. Any localised restrictions will be communicated with affected properties in advance. Diversion routes for traffic will be in place for the duration of the works.

There will be disruption to Bus Services at this location, however arrangements have been made to provide an alternative service.
