Happy lovelies 💕 How has your week been treating you so far?

My week has flown in! I returned back to my fitness classes on Monday after a two month break, suffered the dreaded DOMS & today after work, I am visiting my gran for a wee catch up & ordering some delicious food 😋

So after having this sitting in my collection for a few months now from an exciting find in TK Maxx, it is time to share the Lip Sleeping Mask in ‘Berry’ ➡️ swipe for some textures!! 🤪

This seriously smells delicious & actually feels so good on the lips. I know this is not a new product & many have this or had it but it was time to pull it out before it ends up going off. I think I am going to enjoy using this but I doubt I will consider repurchasing unless it becomes cruelty free 🧐

So I decided to get up close & personal with this amazing lip scrub by in Wet - pink Grapefruit scented 🥰

I used this for the first time the other day, in fact, this was my first time ever using a lip scrub & the experience was interesting 🤣 I mean it was a scrub but I have never scrubbed my lips before but the feeling afterwards? WOW! My lips felt so lovely & soft 😍 I think this now might enter into my weekly pampering 🤗

So January was a great month for me for completing products 😁 but tbh, I knew where I was going to start - older products that had already had some use & I just wanted out 😋

So I have been meaning to start sharing mini review on the skincare range for some time and I thought seen as I have a bit of better lighting today, now is the time 😁

I am currently using both these cleansers - one in the AM & one in the PM and really enjoying both. There are no set rules for these as they can both be used at any time of the day but taking advice from one of The Inkey Lists older posts is the reason why I am using a combination of both 🤗

💫 Salicylic Acid Cleanser
This is a clear gel cleanser that helps to remove traces of makeup and dirt and leaves my skin feeling super fresh & clean. It doesn't foam up that much and it is a little thick when using. It also helps to reduce blackheads & breakouts which I would agree as since starting my Inkey journey, my pore size has definitely reduced 😄 it only has a slight fragrance and not unpleasant. Contains 2% Salicylic Acid & Zinc which is great for controlling oil production 😀

💫 Oat Cleansing Balm
I would say this one is much better suited to normal to dry skin but it is also recommended for oily skintypes during the winter. The battle oily skinned people like me knows that no matter what, your oils just stick around. Which also means that if your skin is dehydrated, it will produce way more oils. I love using this in the evening as it is specially great for removing makeup which is step 2 in the evening after my makeup remover cleansing balm. It has a lighter formula than that of the Salicylic Acid but also doesn't hugely foam up. Spreads well and feels fresh & smoothing on the skin. This also has a slight fragrance but nothing overwhelmed or unpleasant.

Besides this account that I thoroughly love & this community ❤, I work as a recruitment consultant for a driving & logistics agency. I have been doing this now for almost 6 years and it is certainly a mixed bag job. A lot of stress, hard work but also very rewarding.

At home, I have 2 ragdoll cats (Millie & Luna) & a tiny dog (Lexi) and been with my fiancé John for over 6 years. We have a house together that we have been renovating what feels like forever 😂 and we were also due to be married in June last year until you know what happened 🙈 Our wedding date has been postponed to June this year and we are hoping that it can go ahead this time 🥰

That will do for now 😂 but I have been thinking that from time to time, sharing some wedding looks for either a bride, bridesmaid or even a wedding guest 😀 let me know what you think? Obviously it is just a bit of fun but it will also help me deciding styles!

So it has been a while since I last done a post & this is one that I have been putting off posting for a while 🙈 No particular reason other than there has been other things I have been more excited about 😂
This is 'Scent of a dream' and for me... it is far from it 😕 Now overall, there is nothing wrong with this scent but it isn't for me. It is extremely floral, musky & like something an older woman would wear,  like my gran 😅 That being said, if I have it on for a while and once it starts to settle, I always then think 'oh it isn't that bad really' but that will be down to the various scents that release over time 🌺
💫 Top Notes (develops over 15mins): Lemon, peach, black pepper saffron, mandarin & bergamot
💫 Heart Notes (resonate over 5 hours): Tuberose, jasmine, frankincense, violet muguet, orange flower, rose oil, tea rose, green ivy & magnolia
💫 Base Notes (lasting up to 9 hours): Fire tree, ISO E super, patchouli, ambroxan, precious woods, citrus, Amber, castoreum, musks

Now I know scents are a personal taste but this one for sure isn't for me. There are other fragrances in my collection that I do love so much more 😉 But for the price of this (£49 30ml) I will be using it up & won't be repurchasing. I might keep the bottle though 🙃

When you have never wanted something so much for so long😁 & oh yeah! I am super excited to now own this little palette 😄

I received this from partner for Christmas after it has been on my wishlist for so long 🥰 I picked it of course 😇 so you can imagine the little patience I had waiting for Christmas day to arrive 🙈😂

The Mini Retro palette 😍 with 5 perfect shades that oh boy! The excitement when I swatched these was unreal 😂 I only wish my camera could pick this up properly to fully share my appreciation for this 😁🥰 And sorry for any slight out of focus - camera wasn't playing well 🙈 Or maybe it was just too blinding to be picked up properly 😂😉

A mix of a duo chrome (Galaxia), buttery metallic (Industrial), 2 creamy mattes (60's & Vintage Taupe) & a softer metallic (Pixie). All these shades are simply beautiful & I can't wait to play around with it 😁

Evening Lovelies 💗 Another Inventory 🤗

These products almost never made it to share on IG but I thought it wouldn't be fair to miss these out when sharing my inventory 🙈😂

Now onto the numbers 😅
💫 Eyeliners - I currently own 15 eyeliner products with a mix of;
- 10 pencils (1 not pictured)
- 4 Pens
- 1 Cream pot
Majority of these are black 😂 I definitely don't need any more eyeliners & will be focusing on some of these this year 🙌
💫 Lip liners - Currently own 9 lip pencils. I tend to use the same lip liner for most n**e lippies. CT Pillow Talk - it honestly works with nearly every pink n**e lip products 😉
💫 Eyebrows - I will be exploring more eyebrow products this year & perhaps improve my technique 😂 but currently have 5 brow products
💫 Powders - I have only really got into loose powders over the last 12 months but now couldn't live without. Currently own 3 & I have 1 on the way that I purchased during BF & own 2 pressed powders (have a backup also of CT so really makes this 3 😅) I like to use these for touch ups during the day. Haven't tried my UD one yet but will soon 🤗

It is almost Hogmanay 🔔 Do you stay up & enjoy the bells or is New Year not for you? I love the bells as I really enjoy that celebration from one year to the next although this year it will be a quiet one with just me & my partner, John 🥰

And thanks to I asked John to pick up this beautiful Sunrise palette for Christmas as had an offer code on it 😁 and I feel so incredibly lucky to have this now 😍😁 I mean, this palette is absolutely gorgeous 🥰 I love the pinks, yellows, oranges & the added touch of n**es ☺

When swatching, the mattes actually didn't swatch that well. Although extremely pigmented, it took a few swipes to build intensity. As always though, the metallics were absolutely beautiful and I would say for sure, Aster is my fave which is more like a duo chrome 😍 Obviously this will apply better on the eye & I will feedback when I have fully played around with it 🤗
