When I return to work on October 11th I’ll be starting to organise my Christmas diary. This will be done slightly differently this year so please read below for all ya info ✌🏼

Lately insta isn’t showing me messages or message requests, so all christmas appointment enquiries must be done via EMAIL.

Appointments will be given on a first come first served basis, with current clients taking priority at the moment.

The week commencing December 19th, I won’t be doing any full sets of lashes, strictly infills only. This is so I can get as many of you looking fresh for Christmas as possible. Please plan your full set for the beginning of December and your infill accordingly. This doesn’t apply to those who intend to have infills from now until Christmas.

PMU is also available on Thursdays (or Sundays on request) leading upto Christmas. I’d recommend having this done about 4 weeks before Christmas so they’re healed nicely for Christmas Day! You can message .taylor to arrange this & your 6 week top up

My Christmas holidays will be the following days along with my usual Sunday & Monday, so please do not request any of these days:

Wednesday 4th January

✌🏼 LASH HEALTH ✌🏼

When doing a set of lashes, the health of your natural lashes is my absolute priority. This means that sets can vary from time to time, let me explain why…

Eyelashes have 3 stages of growth, and it’s only really safe/sensible to put an extension on lashes which are in the second stage of growth, as these are strong enough to hold an extension safely & will ensure long, healthy retention.

If you’ve recently had a shed, which can happen due to season change, hormones etc, then these lashes will start to grow back and will be very small. These new lashes aren’t safe to apply a lash extension to yet, as they’re too short. Applying an extension to them would cause damage to the lash itself and the follicle from where it grows. It’s also a huge probability that the extension wouldn’t stay on as the lash is too short and weak to hold it yet.

It’s *very* rare that there will be enough unsafe lashes that it will be visible when having lashes done. You should be able to have a full set and never be able to tell that you have shorter lashes in there that can’t be lashes, but your lash artist will be able to tell from their point of view.

In addition, even lashes in their 2nd stage of growth which are ideal for extensions, need to be treated with the utmost care. This means selecting extensions which are safe for the natural lash- not too long or too heavy. When applying Russian lashes, this is why they MUST be pinched to the thinnest base possible, as it’s unsafe to do otherwise and can cause lifelong, permanent lash damage.

This is why your lash tech will/should always tell you that they’ll have a look at your lashes and see what they can do before agreeing to mega thick or long sets.

Hope this helps you understand lash health & safety a bit more - it’s really not as simple as sticking some lashes on 🤣 although we all wish it was!
