I’ve had a lot of clients come to me after a bad experience and they’re often all shocked that this isn’t a normal part of getting their nails done 🥺

Here’s what’s really going on when nails are left thin, brittle or painful…

⚡️ Over-filing - Your natural nails are not meant to be drilled down paper thin. When too much is filed away, it thins the nail plate, causes sensitivity, and can take MONTHS to grow back healthy. Proper prep should be gentle and precise - not aggressive.

💡 Mismatched lamps - Each gel brand is
formulated to cure under its own lamp.
Using a random lamp can cause that
“burning” feeling and leaves the product improperly cured which can lead to reactions.

🧪 Cheap products - Bargain gels often contain ingredients that are highly irritating and not always safe. It’s not worth saving a few pounds if it leaves you with damaged nails.

Pretty nails don’t have to hurt - and they
definitely don’t have to leave lasting damage.

I put the time and care into your nails to help them grow longer while still staying healthy and strong.

“I don’t want to look like Daisy the cow” is something that’s said to me at the beginning of a lot of makeup appointments 😅

In the world of social media we do often see a lot of full glam looks - full coverage foundation, big fluffy lashes, bold smokey eyes. And while this is what some people prefer, it’s not for everyone.

A lot of my clients don’t wear makeup often or wear very little. They want to look glammed up and have people notice they’re had their makeup done, but to still look and feel like themselves 🥰

A good MUA should have a style…

…but they should also know when to adapt it to the person sitting in their chair.

And while choosing an artist whose work you love is important, once you’re in my chair, your preferences matter too. 🤍

My diary for December is beginning to open (appointments are open on a 3 month rolling basis). The first Saturday in December is always full so make sure to get booked asap especially if this is your Xmas night out date! I’ve had lots of people book in for December already. Lovely to have lots of returning clients getting booked in also ❤️🫶🏼
