1st step of my Dermalogica Pro advanced microneedling pathway completed. ✔️

I had the best day at our Glasgow training hub with my incredible derm tribe and exceptional educators and regional education manager Kathryn Maguire, learning advanced techniques to safely and effectively treat the different types of acne scarring.

We were privileged to be using the new second edition Dermalogica microneedling medical grade and FDA approved device. (Which I’ve now purchased. 🙌) and the new 14 pin cartridge, designed for medical grade precision.

It is so important to me in my business to always invest in the best devices and continue to learn to deliver the best results for your beautiful skin, and as always on a skin health 1st approach— progressive never aggressive! 💗

👤SHADE- seek shade whenever is possible, especially during peak times 11am-3pm.

Some myth buster’s. ☺️

- Using a sun bed before your holiday prepares your skin.. it doesn’t! it increase’s cell DNA damage! Sunbeds give out 10-15 times more UV rays than midday Mediterranean sun! 😳 that’s a lot of skin damage!

- I tan I don’t need sun protection.. you do! Any exposure to 🌞 is changing the DNA in your cells and potentially causing damage!

- We live in Scotland we don’t need SPF.. Ultra Violet Rays aren’t seen or felt, it is not related to temperature, it can pass through clouds, bounce off reflective surfaces and is the primary cause of skin cancer.
