We are 4! 🥳
Last week the salon turned 4, can you believe it?!?!
And to celebrate we are under going a 2 week renovation. The salon is having a bit of a spruce up and shuffle around.
We are having to do this on our days off and during the evenings to fit it around our clients, so please bare with us. If the salon looks bit discombobulated when you next pop in it's all for a good cause.
It will look fabulous the next time you visit we promise 😉

A bit of an emotional one today but here's our Colwyn Bay Pride update 🌈
This year at Colwyn Bay Pride we raised a whopping £251.50, a massive thank you to everyone who visited us on the day and helped us raise this money for Amethyst SARC.
The beautiful souls at Amethyst are raising money to fund the making of an age appropriate film for children who are the victims of Sexual assault. This film will explain the process of accessing Amethysts services to them so they understand and feel safe. They are also raising money to have cuddly plushies of the animated characters made to give to the children to help comfort them during this process.
This video isn't perfect, please excuse my stuttering and stumbling. I found it really hard to speak the words as these victims are CHILDREN. It is devastating that this is a service that is needed for anyone let alone children.
But again thank you for supporting us and helping to raise this money that is so desperately needed 🌈

Our dedicated team at the Amethyst Sexual Assault Referral Centre are climbing Yr Wyddfa at Sunrise! If you know any of us, you know how hard this challenge will be.
We are currently raising funds to create a specialist animation film designed for children under the age of 10. This film will gently explain what to expect when accessing our service, helping to answer questions and reduce fear in a way that feels safe and age-appropriate.
Anything you can contribute will directly support the children accessing our service and we would be extremely grateful! Thank you

Calling all stylists of North Wales. On Sunday the 10th of May we will be manning a stall at Colwyn Bay Pride offering festival hair, colorful braids, funky feathers, hair tinsel we've got it all!
Last year we attended as Salon 81, this year we want to work under the banner of Safe Seats and Smiley Stylists.
A collection of Welcoming North Wales Salons. Salons that believe a salon should be a safe inclusive space for all!!
So if you're chair is a Safe Seat and you want to join us we'd love to have you. All stock and tools are provided (and we've chosen the most simple ways to braid to make it easy and quick for everyone 😉)
Bring a leaflet, business card, flyer anything to advertise your business. So we can tell everyone how many awesome safe spaces there are out there 🌈
All of the money will be going to charity so even if you can only give us a couple of hours you'll be making a huge difference. 🥰

Cute and well behaved dogs are always welcome in the salon. Just don't expect us to get much work done 🐕❤️
