✨ A LITTLE INTRODUCTION FROM ME… ✨

If you’re new here, hello and welcome to J.M Holistic’s 💚 I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself and told you a little bit about the person behind the business.

I’m Jemma the face behind JM Holistics , a fully qualified holistic therapist based in Llandysul, West Wales. 🌿

My journey has taken me on quite an adventure before eventually bringing me to where I am today.
I started my career working on cruise ships, which gave me the opportunity to travel, meet so many amazing people and gain experience in the beauty and spa industry. 🚢✨

From there, I went on to work in a spa in the French Alps, which was such an incredible experience and definitely a chapter of my life I’ll never forget. 🏔️🤍

Eventually, I decided it was time to settle down back home and spent the next 7 years working as a beautician and massage therapist. During that time, I realised just how much I loved the more relaxing, nurturing side of treatments and the difference that having time for yourself can make.

And that’s where J.M Holistics began. ⭐️
I wanted to create a space that feels warm, welcoming and relaxing somewhere you can leave the outside world behind, switch off and have some much-needed time for yourself.
Whether you’re coming for a massage, reflexology or a facial or simply an hour to slow down, my aim is always for you to feel comfortable, listened to and cared for.

It’s more than just a job it’s something I’ve created from a genuine love for what I do and for helping people feel a little more relaxed, restored and looked after.

Sometimes we just need to stop, breathe, switch off and allow ourselves to be looked after for a little while.

💧☀️ HYDRATION MATTERS — ESPECIALLY IN THIS HEAT! ☀️💧

Over the past couple of weeks, with the warmer weather, I’ve noticed more and more clients showing signs of dehydration and it’s something I’ve been noticing particularly around the kidney and bladder reflex areas during reflexology treatments.

When we’re dehydrated, our bodies have to work harder to maintain balance and eliminate waste, so it’s really important to make sure we’re giving our bodies the fluids they need. 💚

✨ A few simple ways to stay hydrated:
💧 Sip water regularly throughout the day
🍉 Enjoy water-rich foods such as watermelon, cucumber and oranges
⚡ Consider replacing electrolytes after heavy sweating

So, take this as your little reminder from me… go and have a glass of water! 🥰💧
