✨ Acne Journey Update ✨
This is the result of 4 Cliniccare chemical peels alongside a consistent skincare routine.
The Cliniccare PURE Peel works by penetrating into the hair follicle, helping to break down the build-up of dead skin cells and excess oil that contribute to blocked pores. By promoting healthy cell turnover and reducing congestion within the follicle, the skin can appear clearer, calmer and more refined over time
There has been a noticeable reduction in active breakouts, inflammation, and overall skin congestion. The skin appears calmer, clearer, and more even in texture, with post-inflammatory redness improving.
Every acne journey is unique, and results vary from person to person. A thorough consultation allows us to create a treatment plan tailored to your individual skin concerns and goals.

Progress after 2 salicylic acid–based chemical peels between 9th March and May 1st ✨
This patient has been an absolute pleasure to work with! After just two CLINICCARE pure chemical peels we’re seeing a reduction in active breakouts, redness, inflammation, and improvement in overall skin texture.
Salicylic acid is an effective ingredient in acne treatment as it works by penetrating deep past pores into the hair follicle to break down sebum and congestion at the root, exfoliating and increasing cell renewal and balancing sebum production overall.
Consistency is key, not just in clinic but on a daily basis; this patient follows a very affordable, basic barrier-supporting routine at home.
Results like this are built gradually by increasing acid strength over time to control exfoliation to avoid disrupting the skin barrier and of course, by the patient following the after care advice at home.
I’m so excited to see the end result after the two more sessions we have planned 🤍
*** As always, the patient has consented to image sharing.

5 Key Elements for Healthy Skin ✨
Great skin isn’t about one product or one treatment, it’s about balance and consistency.
1. Cleansing
Double cleansing removes excess oil, SPF, makeup and daily pollutants to keep pores clear and skin fresh.
2. Hydration
Supports the skin barrier, improves texture and helps reduce irritation and breakouts.
3. Protection
Daily SPF is essential to prevent premature ageing, pigmentation and collagen breakdown.
4. Nutrition
Targeted skincare ingredients help support skin function and address individual concerns. Diet such a reducing sugar and avoiding potential triggers for conditions such as rosacea or acne can be hugely beneficial.
5. Regeneration
Professional treatments and active skincare encourage cell turnover and collagen renewal for healthier, stronger skin over time.
Healthy skin is built with the right routine and the right treatments for you.

Winter can be tough on your skin barrier ❄️
Cold temperatures reduce natural oil production, while indoor heating strips moisture from the air, both compromise the skin’s protective barrier.
Typical symptoms include:
• Dryness & dehydration: skin feels rough, flaky, or tight even after moisturizing
• Increased transepidermal water loss (TEWL) : moisture evaporates quickly, leaving skin dull and uncomfortable
• Redness & inflammation: skin may appear flushed, irritated, or blotchy
• Sensitivity: stinging or burning when applying skincare, even gentle products
• Itching: often worsens after washing or exposure to cold air
• Cracking or peeling: especially around the nose, lips, and hands
• Breakouts or congestion: a weakened barrier can trigger acne or texture changes
• Eczema or dermatitis flare-ups: more common in colder months
• Loss of glow & elasticity: skin may look dull, crepey, or less supple
Used correctly, hyaluronic acid floods skin with hydration, while ceramides lock it in, helping protect against transepidermal water loss all season long.
For another hydration hit, maybe consider microneedling whereby serums needled into the skin increase absorption for skincare products. While microneedling temporarily disrupts the barrier, the healing process can strengthen it long-term, reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and improving hydration balance.
Unsure whether these ingredients or microneedling could help you? Send me a message to book a consultation or use the link in bio for prices 💌
