At Beyond Beauty by Ceris Hopkins, your skin’s health is just as important as achieving beautiful brows.

What is skin grazing?
Skin grazing is when a very thin layer of the skin is accidentally removed during waxing, leaving the area looking red, sore, or tender. While uncommon, it can happen even when the correct techniques are used.

If skin grazing does occur:
• Keep the area clean and avoid touching it.
• Do not apply makeup until the skin has healed.
• Avoid heat, swimming, steam rooms, and direct sun for 24–48 hours.
• Apply a gentle, fragrance-free healing cream if recommended by your technician.
• Allow the skin to heal naturally—most cases improve within a few days.

Your safety and comfort are always my priority. Every treatment begins with a consultation to ensure brow waxing is suitable for your skin on the day of your appointment.
