Let’s talk about filler migration

It doesn’t matter how good your injector is. Sometimes, after years of topping up filler, migration can happen. Especially in the lips.

I don’t often push clients to dissolve unless the migration is obvious to the naked eye. But when filler has migrated above the lip, leaving it looking puffy with little definition, sometimes the best and only option is to dissolve and start again.

This shows the stages of taking migrated filler back to a blank canvas, then rebuilding the lips to bring back their shape and definition.

Sometimes adding more filler isn’t the answer. You need to strip it back and start again.
