What kind of resting position do students dream of during intensive practice, except for Shavasana? Which asana will help to cope with chronic fatigue and stress?
Answer: "The pose of a child, in Sanskrit — Balasana."
The Sanskrit names of asanas traditionally consist of several words. There are only two of them in the name of our asana: "bala" — 'child' and "asana" — 'body position', hence the 'pose of the child', you can also hear the 'pose of a happy child' or 'pose of a sleeping child'. All these names will allow us to understand more clearly what state we need to achieve during its ex*****on.
