Did you know that more pressure doesn’t mean better lymphatic drainage?

One of the biggest misconceptions in manual lymphatic drainage is that stronger pressure produces better results. In reality, your lymphatic capillaries respond to rhythm, precise skin stretch.

When the skin is stretched correctly, the anchoring filaments pull on the tiny microvalves of the lymphatic capillaries, allowing excess fluid, proteins and waste products to enter the lymphatic system naturally.

Too little pressure won’t create enough skin stretch.
