As a business mentor one of the biggest stumbling blocks I come across is imposter syndrome.
It’s not that you’re not where you’re meant to be. It’s just that your confidence hasn’t caught up yet. Some wise words I was once told from
None of this is luck. It’s hard work. And you earnt that.
It’s likely that you’re probably sitting on something as we speak. Something you’ve always wanted to do. A new treatment, offering training, expanding your space.
Maybe it’s not quite ‘perfected’ or it needs a ‘few more tweaks’ or maybe you feel like it’s out of your area of comfort.
And yes… some things do need the final touches.
But if you’re putting that one thing off out of the worry it’s not ‘perfect’ or that it’s bigger than you.
Guess what?
There will never be a perfect time.
It’s ok to learn and make mistakes. Failure is simply success in progress.
So, JUST start!

Burnout 💤
Something far more common in our industry than we like to think 💭
You’re running a business, often your passion… it’s hard to ‘switch off’ who else does the work when you’re not around? 🕰️
But sometimes that passion leads to getting swept away. We squeeze ‘just one’ client in and it forms a habit. And all of a sudden you come last.
But if we’re wanting to create a lasting impact with our clients, we need to be able to pull from somewhere.
And if the cup is empty… the treatment doesn’t deliver 🥤
Here are just 3 ways I helped bring some balance to my treatment space.

I stopped posting for over a week on my social media, not intentionally or because I didn’t want to. But sometimes life just gets busy and here’s what happened 👇🏼

I didn’t loose clients, I didn’t loose followers and my business didn’t vanish overnight.
Why?
Because what you have built is about more than just social media. It’s built on connection. Real human connection. 👐🏻
Don’t get me wrong social media plays a big role when it comes to growth and exposure. And it’s a tool that can be very valuable📲
But so much of what we do as therapists is about how we make people feel. And that happens inside the treatment room. ☁️

There are so many factors that make up a businesses’ success.
