Well… decorating is going.

How is it going, you ask? Well… it's just going! 🤣🙈

I've already had to make an emergency trip out to buy Polyfilla because the stuff I got from Poundland was about as much use as a chocolate teapot! 💀😂

And the sanding dust?! 😳 It genuinely looks like it's been snowing in here! ❄️🤣 I'm pretty sure I've inhaled enough dust to become part of the actual wall at this point! 🙈😂

Lunch has been had 🍽️, the tunes are BLARING 🎶 and we've gone from dancehall reggae to 80s pop with a bit of Dolly Parton thrown into the mix! 🤠🎤

Honestly, the neighbours must think I've lost the plot! 🤣🤣

The walls are getting there, the playlist is keeping me going, and I'm just hoping the house looks better at the end of this than I do! 😂💀

I've dropped Dakota to the childminder and I'm now having a cuppa and deciding what to have for breakfast before the fun begins.

Today's plan is to finish stripping the wallpaper and prep the walls ready for an undercoat. Basically, I'm going to spend the day covered in wallpaper, dust and probably a few choice words, wondering why I ever thought decorating was a good idea! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ At this rate, the only thing getting a makeover today will be ME… and not a good one! 😂
